came here for a work happy hour. The waitress was nice enough but the guac was old and flavorless — how is that possible? The tacos were good, though

I do enjoy this place however I was very disappointed by both bartenders at both indoor bars. First bar, the girl did not acknowledge me in the slightest. Boyfriend went to the other bar where he ordered us beers. The bartender failed to explain happy hour price and never asked if I wanted bottle or tap and gave bottle, which was double the price. Very unhappy as this was going to be my new happy hour place!

Came here on a weekday afternoon with a friend. We chose to sit at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and attentive to our needs. She gave us the menu and walked us through all the drinks and gave us suggestions. It’s always good to have that when you go to a place for the first time. My friend and I had bulldog-style margaritas which were pretty tasty.(they grenadine syrup in the beer; interesting!) We also had the fried calamari which was good, I’ve tasted better though. The sauce it came with was amazing by the way. Other than that, the atmosphere here was very relaxing and pleasant. I would come here again, just with a bigger group of people, because it was a bit empty when we came.

I love this place! The table side guac, delicious entrees, delicious drinks and fun atmosphere. I’ve been here probably 5 times since May for dinner. Only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because when this place gets busy, which is 90% of the time, the waitstaff has trouble balancing time at your table. BUT all of the waitstaff is awesome!

Extremely loud, noisy atmosphere. The music was loud as hell I mean deafeningly loud, so loud I forgot it wasn’t a night club. So loud my waitress was within kissing distance and still couldn’t hear me yell my order, I had to point it out on the menu. We ordered and no joke we waited over an hour for the food to reach our table. I flagged the waitress down and asked her why it was taking so long her response was, it coming any minute now, that was a lie cause we waited another 20 minutes I seriously wanted to get up and leave. I will not be returning. After all that wait the food came and tasted like shit. Food so bad I left 99% of the food on the plate, when the waitress asked if I wanted it wrapped up I declined, which is a first for me.

This place has a real cool vibe. Outdoor seating in the front and in the rear. Palm trees, TVs and a full bar on the patio. The drinks had me and my husband giggling like teenage girls. The portions were big and the complimentary guac didn’t hurt! Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was because my silverware was filthy. And I had to request another set. Otherwise, good times.

If you’re coming here for drinks, this is your place. If you’re here for food… RUN! I frequent come to Cabo because I think they have great drinks. I recommendation sitting at the bar. If you sit anyplace else, you’ll have a difficult time getting service. And if you sit outside in the back. just expect your waitress to pretty much never return lol. Though this review seems a little harsh, I’m still going to give them four Starks because of you know what you’re getting yourself into and you’re pretty much just going for drinks… you’ll probably have a great time! Def recommend for single ladies, there’s always men there just waiting to hit on you!(Not a bad thing lol)

The flavored margaritas on Monday are the best! The quesadillas are pretty good as well. Management and waitress(elyana) were great.

Went here on my friend’s 21st birthday, and to be honest, I don’t expect this restaurant to be a completely authentic Mexican restaurant. I grew up in Queens, so I had legit Mexican food, but I came here so that I can celebrate my friend’s birthday. First things first, their drinks were delicious! and their food wasn’t bad at all. Even though prices are kind of high, their portion sizes was almost reflected to their prices. Trust me, I eat A LOT, and I couldn’t finish it because the food I ordered had a big portion. Im a foodie, so when I make my food to go because I couldn’t finish it, then its a star for me. But the biggest disappointment was the overall experience. Let me just address this: We came in a group of 12 people. Idk if my friends made reservations, but all I know is that the staff had to make space and combine tables so that we could sit down. Therefore, I can understand if service was a little bit slower for us, since we are ordering different food, drinks, appetizers, etc. But MAN, ITWASUNNECCESSARILYSLOW. My friends and i waited for almost 1 ½ hour to get our food. I also noticed that our server might be inexperienced; she looked really overwhelmed by the sudden amount of people and orders. I can understand that part, but I was annoyed that she didn’t get any help and if her supervisor had paid attention, then MAYBE we could get a more experienced server, that way our poor server didn’t have to face the wrath of my friend’s(and her friends) impatience. I felt the restaurant was being really really cheap to us. I used a Unilocal check in coupon to receive free guacamole, and asked if we could use 2 of the check in coupons because there was seriously a dozen of us(coming with a bill of almost $ 300 in total), and one guac won’t cut it. But they said no, which I really thought was unfair but really, there 12 of us and that guac can serve about 5 – 6. really? Half of our friends had a little guac because there was barely any left after it was passed to the 7th person. Also, we specifically requested that we get separate receipts for our orders. why? Because there are 12 of us and most of us want to pay with our cards. But what response did we get? Denied. We had to put our foot down, DEMANDING that we receive separate receipts. Because how difficult can this get? the fact that there are 12 of us, most paying with cards, tons of entrees and drinks that are being charged and give us one receipt(with charges of food that we never ordered)? it was a really stupid move that our request with separate receipts was denied, because we had a damn good reason why we needed this. and whoever denied this request initially did not even think this through. Not only that, but its been at least 3 hours since we set foot in this restaurant that my friend never got a «happy birthday»? I’m sorry, but she had two giant balloons, so it was obvious that it was her birthday overall, this restaurant was a big disappointment. the food was good, but the quality of the experience was bad. just seriously bad. I feel really bad for our server that she had to put up with my friends complaints and demands. My friends may blame that server, but i completely blame the people/person who were in charge of the restaurant on that day. Because this could have been a much better experience if they have been more proactive about giving a better service to us.

I’ve been to CABO in the past twice before for drinks only and had the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. I decided to celebrate my birthday there with a small group of friends two weekends ago. We made reservations in advance. When we got there they were ready for us. There were 8 of us so they combined tables in the back on the left side of the restaurant. The wait staff was pleasant and the music was good. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and main courses which all came to us in a timely manner. The food was good although my order was messed up the first time,(which is the only reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5). The DJ gave me a bday shout out and they came and sang happy birthday when we ordered dessert. I forgot the name of my drink but it was a strawberry piña colada type margarita. To eat I had the empanadas as an appetizer, they were decent; I ordered a grilled chicken burrito with refried beans, rice, sour cream, lettuce and tomato inside as my entrée. And for dessert we shared 2 orders of fried Oreos. Tasty! They also turn part of the restaurant into a dance club at midnight so we’re able to dance after we ate and have more drinks. A nice spot to have get togethers or dance with a fun group of friends. Will definitely come again.

Wow Cabo! Congratulations… the worst food I’ve EVER eaten in a restaurant. Came here on a Sunday night 4÷24÷16. Everything was trash from the«tableside guacamole» to the burger, to the arroz con pollo. Food was so bad, that I tried drenching it in ketchup. It was so bad I couldn’t even finish the food. Waiter offered to wrap it up but I was like«nah» cause it was that bad. Waiter was very professional and gave good service though. Oh and another thing, the music playlist was all over the place and the lights were too bright.

The food looks delicious but it’s not as great as presented. However the atmosphere and the ambience really seems like you’re in Cabo! They have a smoking section in the front and the back of the store with a club outdoor setting! I will definitely be back in the summer to check that out. Hopefully my Unilocal coupon doesn’t expire by then lol

Service: Slow, slow, slow. Maybe utilizing all the servers to sing happy birthday and shake maracas takes priority over taking orders; inattentive to say the least. Food: Mediocre — if you have the option, stay home, sauté some chicken/steak, pour some taco seasoning on top, melt cheese on chips, mash up a few avocados, and voila, you just had the Cabo experience. Overall — unimpressed.

Came here after a movie with my daughter. Ordered salmon tacos and my daughter had the shrimp quesadillas. While the food was quick to come out, it was tasteless. There was no extra zest for the dry overcooked salmon and shrimp had no seasoning. The only reason I gave this restaurant an extra star was because the half hard iced tea an d lemonade margarita was really good. Not excited to come back.

I was looking forward to Mexican food in the RVC tonight. Cabo was such a disappointment! I walked in and was told there would be a 10min wait and I could have a seat at the bar which was fine. I went and had a seat at the bar and ordered and paid for a bud light. A few mins later I received a text message my table was ready! We were seated but then waited 20mins before a sever even came to the table and acknowledged us. He arrived to our table as I had already decided I was giving them 20mins max to come and take our order; plus I wanted to at least try and finish my beer that I already PAID $ 7 plus a tip at their bar! To say the least this place has absolutely no regard in the world for customers. I will never step inside this place ever again! Beware my fellow Unilocalers!

Cabo just really looks like one of those places that belong on the strip down in Miami Beach. But it’s not. I walked in a there were a lot of people in here. There are two bars next to each other. Decorated really tropical, the music was great & I was feeling the vibe. I squeezed up to the bar because there were no seats and asked for a drink menu. Immediately, my first thought was that this menu reminded me of Wet Willie’s. I swear all they’re missing here is one of those signature cups lol. However, all that being said, the actual drinks are beyond weak. I ended up ordering the mojito margarita and my friend got the sangria and needless to say we both sipped on our juice or whatever it was and kindly walked right back out. I can’t speak on their food. I have eaten here before but it was at least 2 – 3 years ago and I guess it wasn’t great because I never rushed back. But if you’re looking for somewhere to have a few drinks and get a little buzzed then please don’t do it to yourself and stumble in here. Sorry P s. They do this little birthday thing that I must mention because I thought it was adorable. All the servers surround the birthday person with maracas shaking all about while 50 Cent– Go Shawty«it’s your birthday» is blasting. I loved that lol

I’ve come here a few times and usually uave a good time. However, If I am to leave a review, it will have to be honest, and thus mixed. The atmosphere and décor are pretty great, loud music, fun lighting. The waitstaff are cute, friendly and attentative. Even the menus are fun and have great style. The bar in front usually gets pretty packed. The tables in the back are usually not to bad of a wait. Downfalls include: tiny bathrooms, always a wait; a tiny little pinch of underseasoned guacamole overcharged for $ 3.50, hardly enough for dipping even a few chips! My margarita was a little too sour and hard to finish. As a side, I got a mini plate of a tiny scoop of lettuce, tomatos and sour cream to my quesidilla which was about $ 11. Overall I’d call the food here as «Stingy». If you want add-ins on your quesidilla, it’s about $ 15, plus a side of quacomole for $ 3.50, I mean come-on!
