This ‘hidden’ point is really nice. It’s extremely uncrowded, but is absolutely gorgeous! This is a bit more rocky and uneven than Halibut Point State Park, but is equally unique. This point is certainly more for the adventurous(and better physically fit). You don’t need to be in fantastic shape to walk along the path to get to the point, but this likely isn’t the best for the elderly or frail. At the ‘end’ of the short ‘path’(which is really a bunch of rocks), there is a really nice cleared out circle where you have a perfect view of Thacher Island National Wildlife Refuge and the 2 lighthouses that stand on it. –Parking is free at the end of Old Penzance Rd by the Cul-de-sac and then you walk right up to the path from there. –You can also fish off the rocks to the left(which I saw 2 locals doing)
