If you want a very odd but rewarding coffee experience, you should stop here. The oddity of the experience starts with the «parking lot» that is the driveway of a house. Then, you proceed to walk up to the front door of a house and enter the «shop» that is actually the living room of the house. You may encounter either the hippy couple that owns the place (House) or just the hippy husband depending on the time of day you go. They offer one type of brewed coffee or will make any type of espresso-​based coffee you want. They also sell several very odd spices and have specialty coffee beans for sale. All the coffee has a detailed narrative on where it is from. The best part is the price. The coffee is $ 1 and espresso drinks are $ 1.50. They also offer a few pastries that I think his wife makes there for $ 1 each. The coffee is very strong and the banana muffin I had was actually pretty solid. All combined, $ 2 and the experience of the place is unbeatable. I wish I had somewhere like this at home that I could go to everyday. And, they open at 6 A.M. so if you need a coffee or pastry before 3 dogs opens at 8 A.M., this is the place to go.
