Smart Energy Solar, Inc

So far… great! Ty Knowles with SunRun guided us through the initial decision. He was very knowledgeable and patient. We were a little apprehensive about installing solar on the front side of our home but the only other choice was to continue to labor under PG&E’s increasing utility rates. Maria Dawes, our project manager with Smart Energy, kept us informed about every detail as it progressed. On August 11 we were quoted 10 – 12 week delivery; our installation was November 12 – 13. How is that for on time delivery! The installers were a nice group of guys and very respectful of working on our home. I will tell you there is no getting around the noise of the installation; we work from home so there was no escaping it. They handled all the application for permits and scheduling and will be meeting the inspectors here to finalize the installation. The only thing that was unexpected was the associated equipment installed on the side of our house; but nothing much happens on the side of our house so no harm and by now, I can’t remember what it looked like before. Looks pretty impressive, actually.
I hope to post an update to this review or post another with 5 stars after PG&E is off the payroll at our house and the system is performing as promised.

We had such a great experience meeting the Smart Energy reps Dylan C. and Ryan. Professional, informative and patient. This program offers consumers another route to acquire solar panels. It took us a month before we contacted SmartEnergy for a meeting. In that time they did not hassle or put pressure on us.
