Stopped for lunch today with fellow Unilocaler Ryan F. vouching for this establishments ability to make delicious phở. He did not steer me wrong. For 8.95 I got a large helping of Beef Ball Phở. This baby was huge and normal people won’t finish it, I am not normal I finished it. The pork based broth was on point and when I went to work on it with Sriracha, Hoison, fish, Lime and soy my piece d resistance was complete. They do not skimp on the beef and I dare you not to be happy. Great service and very clean. This is a winner.

So, I had a chance to check this new Vietnamese restaurant out. We don’t have very many out here so it was nice to see a new one open up. The waiter greeted us and took our orders. We asked for two glasses of water. There were 2 other tables that were being served in the restaurant. We waited quite awhile for our food to arrive. We waited about 20 minutes which in a Vietnamese restaurant is a long time. We also didn’t get water until we asked a second time after receiving our food. I ordered the large beef stew noodles and brought a good appetite. Unfortunately, the beef stew was cold, the soup was warm, and the noodles were very undercooked. Please look at my pictures as egg noodles shouldn’t be clumped together and should also not taste like they’re fresh out of the bag. Needless to say, I was disappointed with my food. I get that it’s a new restaurant and they are working the kinks out. I will try this place again a second time in the future just to see if things are better. It would be nice to have another Phở restaurant by home that I would like to go to. I will say that the employees were friendly and seemed to have the right attitude aside from being late with the water. While I was there, I noticed that they had a lot of to-go orders.

My Mom always taught me to find the positives in each situation, so: –it’s clean –server was pleasant –herbs and veggies were fresh — portions were generous — maybe just not our style of food

What a wonderful discovery! We’ve been looking around for a real authentic Vietnamese restaurant in this area. Although there are a few, this one is tops as far as we’re concerned. The menu is comprehensive, flavors are exquisite, portions are generous and the service is good. Each order seems to be prepared fresh without any shortcuts. Great value too on top of everything else. I know we’ll be coming back for our authentic Vietnamese food fix regularly. Give this place a try, I’m pretty certain you’ll enjoy this place. It’s a little hard to find. it’s in the strip mall that Bank of America is in on Park & Sunset. Look for it. It’ll be worth the effort.

We’ve tried this place out several times and it’s actually quite good. Service can be a little slow, but the good food more than makes up for it. Good variety of noodles and rice. The only star taken off was for the rather random items of food that are always«not in stock.» We came here on three occasions and all three times, something we ordered were either out or they didn’t have. Not much of a problem because they have a rather large menu and you can always pick something else. This is our new favorite place for Vietnamese food and I’m so thankful we have more Vietnamese options in the area without having to drive to Sac.

Tried the #21 with Egg Noodle. It was so salty that I had to pour my ice water into the bowl just to even the taste out, two hours after eating, my month was still numb. Speaking of bowl, it was rather small for almost $ 10, in the Bay Area, it would have cost around $ 6. Had to go across the street to 33 Degrees Ice Shavery to get some ice cream to clear out the salty mouth and a Pork Banh Mi just to fill me up.

This area of town is awash in Vietnamese restaurants. A good problem to have in my opinion. Usually my go to is Phở, but I needed something a little more solid this time. I opted for #36 on the menu. I can’t tell you the actual name of the dish, but it was chicken over vermicelli. The chicken had a good chargrilled taste and was seasoned with something amazing. There were approximately eight pounds of noodles on the plate. The meal also included a slaw, a soup and an egg roll. The soup was broth with chicken and bok choi(I think). The broth had a good flavor, but the scent was strong(I ate back at my office). The egg roll was not for me. It seemed to be filled with chopped mushroom, which is on my no fly list. I couldn’t comment on the slaw because I was full by then. In summary, I wasn’t bowled over by all of the accoutrements but the chicken was excellent. Looking forward to trying some phở next time.

FINALLY an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in this area! My husband and I have tried pretty much every Viet place in this area, always leaving disappointed. We moved up here almost a year ago from S. Sac and really missed eating at our go-to Viet spots. I was pretty skeptical trying Little My Tho but left full and happy. The restaurant was spacious and clean, service was speedy, and the menu had plenty of options. To start, we ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. This place actually puts mint, cilantro and bean sprouts in the spring rolls, which I was excited about as we noticed other places in the area cheap out and only put the protein, lettuce and noodles. My only nit pick is the sauce could be a little thicker. For entrees, I ordered a small rare steak phở and the hubs ordered the grilled pork rice plate. Both were delicious and flavorful! Portions were spot on and both dishes tasted exactly how we expected them to! Those are our fave items to order at Viet places and every restaurant we’ve tried in this area have always tasted WAY off but not here! SO glad we finally have a place to go to in the neighborhood!

My new go to place for Vietnamese food in Rocklin. I have been here a number of times the few weeks. The Bun Bo Hue was flavorful and Banh Mi was delicious. The phở was pretty decent.

Fresh ingredients, great flavor. Best grilled pork in town. Our new go-to phở place. This place opened in early December with an enthusiastic menu. Not all selections are available but ask and the staff will work with you to get your belly full. The prices are comparable to area phở places, but imho the food is so much fresher than what is available around town. I’ll be keeping tabs on this new place to see if they get complacent I sure hope not.

HIYA’LL! Alright, let’s review this restaurant that JUSTOPENED two weekends ago. Now, keep in mind that they just opened, they are learning and still getting their shit together. Also, I love phở and eat a lot of it, so I may know a thing or two. Went here for dinner last night with two friends. I thought the service was good. One friend and I ordered a viet iced coffee with sweet condensed milk. Because I need my coffee super sweet, I asked one of the servers for extra sweet condensed milk. She gave me half of a tea cup full, so that is a point for them. I personally thought my bowl of phở(steak on the side and beef meatballs) was super delicious. I enjoyed the broth, and it was a good portion of food: lots of noodles, green onions, onions and rice noodles. It was hot and filled me up with warmth as it was freaking cold. The bowls are deep, and they fill it up with broth to the brim of the bowl! The broth was tasty and had flavorrrrr. Also, they don’t charge for steak on the side(some places do, and I find that absolutely ridiculous). They give the usual condiments of Thai basil, bean sprouts, peppers and lime for phở. Both of my friends enjoyed their bowls of soup. The service to us wasn’t terrible, and even when we ordered our coffees, the server came back and asked us if we wanted the milk. I’m jusstt saying that was a good part on her act, cause maybe one of us was lactose-intolerant or something. I would say that the only«bad» part I’d like to comment was that my friend requested rice noodles instead of egg noodles for her #29, but they gave her egg noodles. She didn’t return it cause she hasn’t had egg noodles before– it was a happy accident. Overall, I’d come back here again whenever I’m in town. Plus, it is super close to my friend’s house(like walking distance). Give the place some time. All restaurants are not 5 stars when they first start.

First time here. Food and service was good. Restaurant was pretty empty. Our table was a party of 6. Got our appetizers in a decent amount of time but waited 45 minutes or so for everyone’s food.(Note: my sister-nlaw had the same problem previously in this restaurant) My sister had asked them why it took so long, and the waiter’s replied«they ran out of meat so they need to marinate more meats» But I guess they have cow, pigs and chickens running in the back kitchen. But overall, if you have the patience to wait long for food, this is the place for you. Maybe I’ll be back because I have all the time to sit and wait. Happy eating!

The food is average but the service is absolutely terrible. We were there for lunch yesterday and my food came out and by the time I was done eating my appetizer and entrée my fiancé’s food still hadn’t even made it to the table. We let the waitress know she goes to the back and brings out the wrong dish! My fiancé then tried to cancel the order, it had been over an hour at this point, she replies with, «it’s done, do you want it to go?» Thinking that they would obviously not charge us for it he accepts. She then brings the food wrapped up and the bill with the dish still on there!!! I walk up and ask her why it still on the bill and she points at the to go bag and say she will take it back and take it off the bill. Seriously?!? Basic customer service it to make sure your patrons are fed and definitely not charge for an order that didn’t even come out until the entire table had finished eating. They were unapologetic, rude, and I will never go back.

This place just opened up near us recently. We figured it’d be fun to try it out, since it’s close to home. The place was pretty empty when we visited. My husband ordered their beef stew noodles and I got their traditional phở bowl(typically a restaurant’s #1). When the noodles came, we were confused because they didn’t come with the usual plate of bean sprouts, lime, cilantro. The way the restaurant is structured(long and narrow), it was hard to see the servers from where we were sitting, so I got up and talked to the guy at the cashier instead. They quickly brought out the plate of bean sprouts and apologized that they had forgotten. The phở bowl was just ok. Nothing spectacular. My husband’s beef stew noodles were all clumped together(see photo). There were only a few meager pieces of beef also. Definitely not someplace you’d go for a big meal. The employees at the counter were very friendly and helpful but for the price, there are better vietnamese restaurants out there. Maybe this place will get better after they get into the swing of things. After reading Unilocal reviews, we checked out KT Noodles and can see why people like that restaurant better. Even though their restaurant is older and more run down than this place, you get better food, bigger portions for less money. We’ll head there instead in the future when we have a phở craving.

We had high hopes for this restaurant. My husband’s huge serving of soup came, then the appetizer, then I had to all twice where my bun was… it’s just a salad in a bowl… chicken was dark meat only… yuk…service was slow needless to say… not a great experience. I think we’ll stick to our favorites.

The good thing about this place is that service is excellent and the food is very tasty/satisfying. The amount of food they serve is pretty descent. Not too much and not too little. I highly recommend this place. They are very accommodating and the owner is very friendly as I’ve known him for many years eating at one of his previous restaurant he used to own. Over all rating, two thumbs up!

I’ve been waiting for this place to open as its walking distance from my house. Now, when it comes to phó I’m a broth whore. This broth is super tasty, lots of depth. They give you plenty of meat, noodles, peppers, sprouts, cilantro and the rest of the accoutrements. What confuses me, is why the noodles are hot and broth cold? How is this supposed to cook the meat or loosen the noodles up?(I got it to go) I had to combine everything then microwave it. It tastes good enough I’ll definitely be back, as I hope they’re just working out the kinks.
