Holy Cross Lutheran Church Lcms

Holy Cross is a wonderful, Christ-​centered, Bible teaching, confessional Lutheran church (LCMS). I have been attending for only a few months and have found the people to be very caring and friendly. Pastor Peperkorn is very knowledgable about God’s Word, and faithfully teaches it each Sunday!
I would encourage all who desire to hear that Jesus Christ died for them to bring forgiveness of sins, each and every week, to check out this church.

A rare gem in the Sacramento area, and I’ve been around.
Holy Cross is a catholic, orthodox, historic, Bible-​believing, confessional Lutheran church, and faithfully proclaims Christ crucified for the forgiveness of sins through the preaching and Holy communion (word and sacrament).
This church is Christ-​centered and gospel-​focused, preaching repentance and the forgiveness of sins through the ancient liturgy and beautiful hymns of the Christian church. It seriously engages Christ’s commission for the church to baptize and make disciples, featuring a considerable number of in-​depth pastor-​led Bible studies that hold fast to the revealed word of God.
This is church is so fantastic, it is where the other pastors come to attend when they retire. And it is not uncommon to run into multiple visiting or retired pastors during Bible classes.
This is not church-​e-​tainment, this is the spiritual meat you’ve been hungry for. This is where they knit all the pieces you’ve been missing together. This is the place where Christianity makes sense, and as a disciple (learner) you learn to receive Christ, as He delivers himself to you through his church.
Our family (including all the kids) are thrilled that we’ve found a home.
