Healing From Within Massage Therapy

Tangela has a nice little scam going. She gets the money and you don’t get a massage! I’ve called Amazon local and they are refunding my $ 27.00.
Highly recommend you don’t bother with this person. She’s a flake.

Hi: I had a voucher from Living Social for a massage. After several attempts to call Tangelia Filipe she didn’t respond, so I sent her a text and she finally responded and told me she could not get me in for an appointment for another month. We set up an appointment for July 21^st at 12:00. I waited for about 30 minutes, the girl at the counter said let’s call her. A stylist overheard our conversation and said «Tangelia has changed her phone number» and gave me the new number. I left a voice mail and a text and have yet to hear from her and most likely won’t now that I have read other reviews. This is very unprofessional and quite frankly a scam on her part. I’m moving forward to report her as well.

I purchased a certificate from her, outside of Living social. It was a gift for my son’s birthday. He was so excited to have a massage. When he was finally able to book, a few weeks out, she cancelled on him. He was told she was sick. Since then she hasn’t returned his/​our calls. That is just plain unprofessional & rude. Whatever you are going through, this is money spent for a service that you should own up to that. Refund me my money at least !!

I bought the hour massage special from Living Social as well. I also left messages several times, and NO return call. I took the advice of the previous reviewer and called Living Social (amazon) and got a refund. Thank you for the advice. What a scam!!! I made a complaint with Amazon for her to be investigated.

Amazing! My Husband and I both get Massages form Tangelia. I would Highly recommend her. Selah Is a beautiful and restful spa. Thank Tangelia!

She cancelled me three times, of which on third
Cancellation I didn’t get her message saying she
Would be out of town, showed up to not only find
Her there with another client. She rebooked me for
Tonight … I know … How stupid… Only to have
Her not show up! Again
I drove across town twice to the Salah salon in Rocklin
Nice place… However if you want a massage try
Somone who is responsible and shows up… I wouldn’t

I had such a wonderful massage that I had to Unilocal about Tangelia, CMT.
I bought a Living Social deal for a 1 hr Swedish massage and couldn’t find any reviews about her and didn’t know what to expect. She was very pleasant and worked whole heartedly. I prefer firm massages and she not only listened to my request but my body as well. She actually spent additional time massaging my back because I have so many knots. As relaxed as I was I remember thinking «Bless you» when she massaged my head… and I never use those words! LOL I would definitely recommend visiting Tangelia for a massage. She was quiet, intuitive, and didn’t rush through.
As for the location, the business is a little tough to find because it’s located inside Selah Day Spa and Salon and I didn’t see any signs for massage therapy. But don’t let that stop you from going.
I also want to add that aside from my off and on lower back pain, I also have a hard time falling asleep. After the massage I had the best nights sleep in months!!! It’s just what I needed!
