Four Phase Energy Corporation

My partner and I decided to take advantage of the mPower program (avail in Placer County) to install solar, HVAC and a new electric water heater. We decided the best way to go about this would be to interview 5 companies for each segment… yes, that is 15 interviews! Whew… that was an undertaking, but so well worth it!
Four Phase Energy was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to us, so I spoke to John Gildea on the phone (very informative and no pressure at all!) and then we met with Michael Dela Pena. Michael was a breath of fresh air! We had now become accustomed to «salesmen» and their «pitch» but Michael wasn’t a typical salesman. Nope, not at all! Matter of fact, the owners of this company are all educators at Sierra College in Rocklin and American River College in North Sacramento… they teach solar!!! They’re VERY informative, as you can imagine! No high pressure sales pitch whatsoever! And, they’re very genuine… which seems to be a rarity these days.
Once we chose Four Phase to install our system, it took us a little time to get completely on board with the mPower program. No worries there either~ Needless to say, when we were ready to go, so were they! Within 2 weeks we had 4 – 5 guys crawling all over our roof in 100+ degree weather. The installers were polite, clean, reliable and did not mess around. We coordinated with Kelly Linville, the Project Manager, via phone, email and text. Kelly was great too! They got the job done in short order, and got us up and running as fast as possible (given the shortcomings of dealing with PG&E).
We’ve been watching our meter constantly to see what’s it doing. Oh my… after getting a $ 530 bill a couple months ago I can’t wait to see what is coming in the mail in a few weeks. When I looked last week we had a $ 6 bill for 10 days. YES, just SIX DOLLARS in the middle of a HOT Sacramento summer!!! :) YAY!
