Ernie’s Van & Storage

We found Ernie’s through contacting Atlas moving online. We had a quote within a few days, and were set up to move within the week. We moved about 1700 square feet of stuff from Sacramento to San Jose. Given that we have pricing experience from a previous move a couple of years ago, we could conclude that their prices were fair. They were responsive and reasonable with our concerns regarding their estimate.
We packed our own non-​breakables. To move us out, there were 4 guys; we had them pack our breakable dishes, and take care of our grand piano, and they were very careful. They worked around us because we weren’t completely done packing, and were very friendly about it. There were a few odd-​shaped items that we didn’t really know how to pack, and they helped us with smiles on their faces. Everything was done with care and respect.
Moving in, there were three guys, all from the previous day (no one new). They moved everything in carefully, and were done within a couple of hours. They re-​assembled the piano correctly. When we unpacked, we had one broken bowl. It was tiny, and it is my only issue. Other than that, we are very happy with the service.

I recently used Ernie’s for my move from Auburn to Roseville. The movers, Brian and Doug, were outstanding! They arrived on time, worked efficiently and tirelessly all day. They had to lift heavy furniture up a narrow, turning stairway to access their truck. Each piece was carefully moved both in and out. All furniture was placed with care and attention to my requests. even if it involved changing locations. They maintained smiles, humor, cheerful attitudes and unending helpfulness throughout. I would definitely reccommend Ernie’s to anyone.
