They didnt even help us. And on of the ladies got mad bcuz a kid put pepper on his pancakes and someone had to recook it

Awful. Absolutely disgusting. Not clean. They messed up 2⁄2 orders. The cook tried to hide the cheese that I specifically asked them to leave out; i have a cheese alergy. Also, they were out of chicken strips on a slow, Wednesday night. Not to mention they have the worst customer service EVER.

We can here today for a breakfast. Typical Denny’s food and fare. The place was moderately busy and we were seated right away. Food came out quickly and was good. Nothing to write home about but I would come back.

I used to be a huge fan of Dennys. My father ran the Denny’s in Victoria station when I was growing up, even writing the training manual at one point. Later as I got older my whole family worked there, dad was the Manager. mom a waitress. brother a busboy and me a hostess. Now days my husband and don’t head over to Denny’s very often but decided to go tonight to the one in Rocklin. First off the waitress(who we later discovered was Debbie Blank the manager) sat us and gave my 6 year old a Christmas menu with some fun looking reindeer pancakes. Thought it was kind of odd since Christmas was over a month ago but figured they must still be making the kids the stuff shown in the menu. NO. Instead my 6 year old was upset she couldn’t get what was shown. Then when we do get our food my oldest daughter was given the wrong item. from what we overheard another customers food and my husbands was messed up as well. Meanwhile the service was so slow and horrible by that point we saw two other parties get up and walk out. As the«waitress» delivered our check she asked how everything was. We said we weren’t happy and she huffed put the check on the table and stalked off. When we went up to pay I asked the guy checking us out if we could use a digital coupon I had on my phone. He said let me ask the manager. Then the women who was our«waitress» yells out across the restaurant«no digital coupons!!». Turns out our waitress was the manager! The cashier gave us 10% off our check(which was only $ 5). After horrible service and two of our 4 meals being messed up(and the food was not good) we only get 10%?? So we got to pay $ 45 for a family of 4 to eat crappy food and have bad service. Always loved Denny’s in the past but if this is how our local Denny’s is then guess it’s goodbye Denny’s. Can pay less elsewhere have great service and amazing food. The manager Debbie Blank needs to learn better service and how to be a better manager. As we got into our car 2 sets of customers that had yet to order left as well. Whether it’s because they were sick of waiting or hearing the way the manager treats customers I don’t know. But obviously were weren’t the only unhappy diners.

I just have to give a shout out to Denny’s tonight for the awesome cheeseburger they served up! Remember those yummy diner burgers from yesteryear, the ones with fresh ingredients, a burger that was hand pattied and cooked to perfection with a toasted bun and fresh fries? That’s what our burgers were like. Big, meaty and wonderful. Best I’ve had in a loooong time. Thanks for a great meal!

My family and I went to this dennys and we were extremely disappointed. We were shown to a table and we waited for 10 minutes before our server came to our table. I ordered a $ 6 Turkey sandwich and when I got it the bread was over toasted. My son ordered the torch slam the server apologized and told him there were no red potatoes so my son ordered invisible woman’s slam instead. the pancakes were gummy and he couldn’t even cut them. My wife ordered the fantastic 4 cheese omelet the server apologized again and saI’d there was no spinach she got it and complained of a strange sauce inside the server never prebussed or visited us again We will never go back to this Dennys again.

I would give no stars if I could. I had to send back the waffle, it was raw and sticky. The pancake replaced it was also undercooked, mushy. I could not eat it, when I said something to the water he was ruth, not apologetic and tried to tell me, it was great, everybody likes it that way.(Keep in mind, I usually do not complain, I did not send any food back for at least 15 years, so it was really, really bad) Of course he didn’t adjust the bill, I had to ask, the cashier was also very ruth, try to tell me that it was OK. If you like terrible food and ruth service yes, otherwise I would not waste a penny in this establishment.

This is a convenient location and the service is fast. Maybe a little to fast. Our waitress was mean the last three times we went.(treated us like we were enemies). Rushed us to order, even though we said we needed a few minutes. She wasn’t gone 30 seconds before returning in even more of a bad mood. It felt like she couldn’t get rid of us fast enough. I couldn’t take the angry waitress tonight so we drove down the road to IHOP. Best dinning experience ever. Now that’s what dinning out should be like. Thank you Tiffany. Never going to this denny’s again.

A very average Denny’s experience. Nothing about this location really wowed me nor disappointed me. When I come to dine at Denny’s my mind is always open minded because literally anything could happen. This location was clean, not well but someone did put effort in to it. The service was average, not great, not bad. The food was good. Honestly, just an average experience. Nothing special.

Well, it’s just a Denny’s people, nothing special. They have the 2,4,6,8 breakfast which is a great price. But, the cook doesn’t know how to cook eggs, I asked for over medium and parts of the whites were runny. But, the service was good and pleasant.

In the end, it’s about da food bruh. I’m a dennys fan and I really wanted to give it 5 stars. I placed my order to go and Ryan was kick ass. Made you feel like a regular. I left with confidence that my food was gonna be good cause it was a slow night. Oh that darn confidence. The food was okay. My chicken tenders were good. A little over done but not too bad. The pancake puppies were DOA. Super over done, no flavor from a lack of sugar and cinammon, and no sryup to dip them in. I used the sryup in my house to eat these sad pups. Verdict: I will be back but I will be checking my order! I hope to fix the review too.

My husband and I have try going to Denny’s every year on the day we first meet at Denny’s in Ontario Ca. But we have try both places close to home in Roseville Ca like the one on Foothill and this one in Rocklin. Slow service and poor service. The guy was over whelm with all the tables he was trying to take care off. Got some of my food and miss the rest off it, after 15 min my husband had to go get it, because we would see it out the window of the kitchen. We knew this guys had to many tables My husband got sick of the hamburger he order. I think they need better management?

I do like this Denny’s. I had my first date with my partner here. Some of the servers become beloved over time, like Midnight Mike. What is baffling is why the managers won’t put more staff on the night shift. I have gone in several times to find a cook and a single waiter running the restaurant when there is a full crowd. It is painful to watch the single waiter or waitress scurry from one end of the place to the other. The wait gets to be long on nights like that, a single person can’t serve a packed restaurant that size. It isn’t the staff’s fault, however. I’ve heard that they can’t request help for fear of a crack down from management or HQ. How draconian. The prime rib melt, southwestern turkey melt, burgers, and chicken strips are really good here. I’d steer away from seafood. This is a pretty good place for studying late at night – hot tea and comfort food to keep you chugging through midterms.

I have gone to this Denny’s for over 15 years and have never been so disrespected by employees in my entire life! Waited for 10 minutes before setting an alarm for 20 and still never even got a hello or water or anything. It wouldn’t be as bad if my wife and 1 year old daughter were not there but since I work all week I was trying to spend sum time and have dinner with them, but now we are leaving upset and I will NEVERRETURN to the Rocklin Rd Denny’s ever again, what a shame.

The server was a nice old guy with a great attitude but had a mouth on him. He liked to joke with you but it wasn’t a great time. We waited a while just to be waited on, than took forever just to get a simple dinner. It was late at night too. Not only did he mess up my order and forget half of my boyfriend’s food but he even said it takes a while to micro– I mean warm up. Hmmmm. I won’t go back again.

So, it’s not great. The staff isn’t friendly, the food isn’t great, the wait is excruciating. I would say giving this place 2 stars(which I don’t do often) is a stretch for them. Waited for over a ½ hour for simple food… I’m shocked given all the bad reviews below, a business manager wouldn’t take the incentive to correct it. I like Denny’s, always have… this doesn’t speak for the chain of them, but this specific one isn’t great at all… I’ll pass it up next time going down I-80.
