Dr. Neeley is an excellent doctor. My husband has been treated by him for over 25 years. I started seeing him a year ago after a car accident. Unlike the other reviewer I have not experienced any pressure to settle too soon. He does want monthly payments and we gave him some but the insurance company settled the bulk of the balance. He has helped me manage pain and migraines without the need for painpills. I see him once per week still and will continue for years to come. He is excellent at what he does.

When I first started going to Dr. Neeley I liked him just fine. A few months after that I got into a car accident. My lower back was not improving and he recommended that I get an MRI. So I talked to my insurance company and they said that I should seek the advise of my primary care physician. I did and she agreed that I should get an MRI. Shortly after Dr. Neeley had suggested I get an MRI he started pressuring me to settle with my insurance company. I told him that my insurance company said I should not settle until I spoke with the neurologist my GP was referring me to. He would mumble under his breath about how I didn’t really need an MRI and I should just settle. I would come in once to twice a week and every visit he would try to pressure me into settling. It’s sad when the insurance company cares more about you then the doctor whose supposed to be caring for you. The last time I went he gives me this big speech about how maybe I’ve already settled with the insurance company and I’m spending his money. Then he wanted me to sign a paper saying that if I didn’t settle my account with him in 30 days he could take it out of my bank account. I told him no that the insurance company is suppose to pay him and I’m don’t need him trying to take the money out of my personal account(this bill is for over $ 3,000). My favorite part of this is he says he would never do that. Trust him. Why would he want me to sign a paper he didn’t intend use? I thought about the conversation I had with him over the weekend and decided he was no longer the chiropractor for me. I called his office to let them know I would not be returning. The following Saturday I get a call from Dr. Neeley and he just doesn’t understand why I wouldn’t want to stay with him. I told him I felt he was unprofessional and that I didn’t feel he was at all concerned about my welfare. It took me a while to get him off the phone and I finally had to tell him I needed to go. The next week his secretary called me and said he wanted all of my insurance information. I gave it to them and even spoke with my adjuster at my insurance company and told my adjuster that Dr. Neeley was worried that I had already settled the claim and had stole his money. I asked her if she could reassure him that the claim had not been settled. She said she could do that. I have recently received a letter in the mail to inform me how much is due and that he(Dr. Neeley) is going to add 1−½% interest to my bill every month it’s not paid in full. I still have not settled with my insurance company. I would recommend to anyone to find someone else to go to. I’ve been going to my new chiropractor for a month. I’ve never received a lecture on money. He’s never asked me to settle before I’m ready. And I am responding to his treatments much better.
