We went during the Sat night public skate. The rental skates were in rough shape… I had a pretty nasty bruise on my foot after an hour of skating. The crowd is mostly tweens… with an over the top police presence out front. There’s a couple employees monitoring the crowd on the ice so I’m not exactly sure why police officers needed to be there at all…
The parking lot was essentially blocked with parents who were apparently too lazy to actually use parking spots and decided to sit in the middle of the road.
There’s a small bar inside with cheap beers and average snacks/​food.
There really isn’t an alternative to compare this place to but it’s a pretty good night out for the money ($ 10 for 2 hrs of skating). I’d go def back, but I might check out prices for my own skates to bring with me.
