So excited that Portabella is open again! We came for our favorite… the Margherita pizza. The recipe is a bit different but still very tasty. The fresh basil makes this pie. Atmosphere and menu are a bit different as well. Limited menu (which is fine as long as they have the pies). The garlic nots are delish. Paper plates, and much brighter inside. Would love to see red and white checkered table clothes and a lit candle. All in all, great experience. Best pizza in town and friendly staff. We will be back to try other things!

We used to go to this place years ago when they were at this location. The food was wonderful then. Well now they have reopened at the same location with the original owners and chef Frankie! This is the «original» Portobello restaurant for sure. All it took was one taste to know for certain. From the garlic knots to the salad to the main course, everything was excellent! I got the «tour of Italy» (lasagna, stuffed shells, meatballs and sausage) and it was great! There was too much for me to eat all in one sitting so I’ll be eating the rest today. The service made us feel like we were the only ones in the place. They were both friendly and very accommodating as well. Our friends wanted to have calamari instead of clams in one meal and they graciously obliged. I did want to try the pizza too but I’ll have to go back soon to have a go at one of those, and yes, I’m going back for sure, and I recommend, based on our experience, that you do too.

So glad to hear that FRANKIE is back… we started our meal with the freshest mozzarella, made that morning in a tasty caprese salad… I had the tour of Italy and brought a lot of my tour home (lots of food) my wife had something off the menu… (if he has the ingredients, he will make it!!! GREAT meal!!! Can’t wait to go back…

This was our first time here. I was in the middle of a torrential rainstorm so there was no other customers in the restaurant. My wife had the Joe sampler platter. The wings were good as well as The mozzarella sticks. Onion rings were overcooked.
The lasagna was obviously frozen and thawed and reheated, was not what I was expecting from an Italian restaurant. Also the Diet Coke tasted more like club soda.
