This was part one of a very fun Bachelorette Party. I hadn’t been to a laser tag game in years! When the bride suggested this, we were all over it! For two games for our group, it was $ 12.75 per person. They have lockers you can put your stuff in and lock it – that was nice for a group of 13 ladies to do w/our purses and our coats! We got there about 10 minutes before our reserved time for our game, but they said that if we waited until the next game, the bachelorette party could have a game all to ourselves. It.Was.Awesome. Some of the ladies had never played, and when the guy was going through the directions, he went WAY too fast, and they were very confused. The schpeal could probably be slowed down a bit for the first-timers. It was a LOT of fun, and we will definitely go back!

This place is great! Only because it’s just about the only thing to do in Rockford besides drink your face off. Laser Quest is a medium sized laser tag facility that hasn’t changed since the first time I went 14 years ago. The main lobby has a few arcade games(including the only one that matters AIRHOCKEY), and games come often enough, waiting is never an issue. The actual interior is pretty cool. Multiple levels, plenty of secluded areas to post up and make out with your girl if that’s what you’re into, loud music… pretty much everything you need. This place is great for people of all ages and it really is just about the most fun you can have sober in Rockford. The only problem I have with it is they never change the layout. But it’s a good time and I recommend it.

The place to go: for a rainy day activity, with new kids in town, or to unwind rambunctious groups of children(aka 7 – 13 year old boy birthday parties). A small place on the end of the strip mall that includes Shogun and the old K’s Merchandise, Laser Quest has a decent sized«tag» area, 5 – 6 arcade games and an air hockey table in the lobby, and two smaller party rooms(I think they hold about 15 kids). Sometimes they run deals, so if you play a lot, it might be worth it to inquire. They also occasionally have lock-in overnights, where you can spend the night and have unlimited game play. Usually the games are $ 8 a piece, but we got a 3 for $ 18(though the catch was they all had to be used within the day). From the few times I’ve been it seems to be kids during the day and super fans/randoms at night, so pick your poison… Oh, and if you ever need a reminder about the importance of cardio and the fact that you might be a fat ass, you found it.
