I have been getting food from this place for years. I would have given this 4 or maybe 5 stars way back then. However, the quality of food and service has fallen off considerably. over the last 5 years. We don’t have much selection for Chinese food, so when we want Chinese, this is our only option. Tonight, might have been our last dinner with Happy Wok. We ordered for delivery and waited over an hour and a half before calling to find out what the problem was. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes, during which time the delivery arrived. The person on the phone said, «Sorry» and promptly hung up. The food was cold and the order was incomplete. Fortunately, we microwaved the food and it was edible, otherwise I would have given this one star. Based on our most recent experience, don’t order from here if you are starving to death. You won’t make it!

We really liked the General Tso’s chicken. and for those of you who say«that’s not real Chinese food» I’ve had authentic Chinese and I can’t say I’m a big fan. One dinner was enough for both of us and we had a little bit to take home. The place was extremely busy with take outs mostly, but we still got our food pretty quick. This is definitely a no frills(though the staff is great) joint just cheap good food.

What can you say about a fast food Chinese restaurant… their food is relatively quick, they’re cheap, and they deliver. The quality of the food is pretty much standard for any Happy Wok you may go to. I really can’t say much about the restaurant as I’ve only had delivery, but this is what I can tell you. My family has certain items this place makes that they love. The General Tso’s Chicken. My oldest orders this every time with out fail. Kung Pao chicken: That’s what I get, I like the flavor combination of the peanuts and the sauce. Sweet and Sour chicken: My youngest could eat a box of this by himself. Chicken Lo Mein: My wife and I will get this and share it between the two of us. Crab Ragoons: When these are hot, biting into them can be a hazard. It’s like having molten cream cheese squirted onto the roof of your mouth and your uvula causing pain and second degree burns. The flavor is good though. We rarely have a problem with this place. Most of the time the issues that we do have stem from them being busy. Long wait on the phone trying to get through. Once they messed up an order of Sweet and Sour chicken by not bringing the Sweet and Sour sauce and it took them over an hour to get it to us. Most of the time they are quick. If they tell you it’ll be 30 minutes, the majority of the time it’s about half that time.
