Our first visit. Homemade BBQ is amazing. We had breakfast which was served quickly and was delicious. Steve, the owner and cook, didn’t have to talk is into ordering a «Fat Old Man» sandwich to go.

A great stop for small town goodness!!! This place has awesome breakfast and lunch items with unique meals for both breakfast and lunch. The owner is awesome and makes most of his food from scratch. He smokes his own pulled pork, roast beef, corned beef and makes his own bbq sauce and 1000 island dressing, sausage and gravy.(He even brought us samples of the sauces to taste test!) The place is small town with a sit up café bar and has not been updated for some time, but is very clean. The service is on key and we never had to ask for a refill. Today the owner came over to let us know about the items that are not on the menu(my husband and his brother seriously enjoyed the Fat Old Guy sandwich!) We also had the crusted grilled cheese, crispy chicken cordon blue and corned beef hash– all delicious! We will definitely be back. Great food and awesome value. :)

FOODIES, you need to came here. I am so mad at myself. I have lived in Delano for seven years and never took the ten minute drive to Rockford. I needed something new and I found it. This place has the best country fried steak and eggs. That is my breakfast. Where ever I go if it’s on the menu I get it. They have a great breakfast menu and lunch menu. With unique meals for both breakfast and lunch. The owner is cool. He is a guy in his 60’s with glasses. He makes most of his food from scratch. Pulled pork, roast beef, corned beef, and his own bbq sauce and 1000 island dressing, sausage and gravy, And his own bbq sauce. Just to list a few. The place is old school café. With a sit up café bar. It has not been updated for some time. But this place is clean. Spic and Span. The service is on key. I never have to ask for a refill. I usually see him and his daughter working. When he has time and it is slow. He will let you know about the items that are not on the menu. Please come here and keep this place in business. He does have some foodies that travel from the cities. But this is a hidden gem. oh yeah what I also like is that you can see the cook do his business. Which I really like. It just gives me a better feeling. And there are a lot of specialty item that are not on the menu. And his hours are from 7 am to 2 pm.

This is a place takes ordinary breakfast food to the next level making every bite that much more enjoyable. The chef is full of small town fun making jokes and being a good host to everyone. I haven’t had any of the barbecue but from what I know about there breakfast it must be good. When you’re driving by make sure to stop on by and enjoy this little gem. It’s only open to 2 though so make sure you get there in time!

Small town goodness describes the Bridge Street. Reuben was tender and delicious and the Frisco was outstanding. Don’t expect fancy ambiance, but do expect great food. Worth the stop.

I was in the area looking for breakfast. I really needed to trust the good reviews when walking up to the place because it seemed a little quiet and like the place could have been closed years ago. The food was great. Fun people hanging out and working there. I even caught an episode of wheel of fortune.

This place is very low key. We went for breakfast this morning to try it out based on the recommendations of Unilocal. We were not sure where the restaurant was because it does not say Bridge Street Café outside. It is the Masonic lodge and you enter street level. Breakfast was wonderful and service was great, good food and good service and you got a hero! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

This place was perfect. Choices in Buffalo are slim, so rather than go to Perkins across the street, we opted to drive 10 pretty miles and man, was it worth it. Great food, great service, and a really quaint setting.

Tiny, hole in the wall café, just off the main drag in Rockford. Very tasty apple pancakes, yummy bacon, and endless cup of coffee. Very quick service. Worth a stop if you are looking for some down-home cooking!

We stopped on a trip to drop off our daughter at Camp. What a find! The place is quaint and clean. The food was excellent! I had the corn beef hash. Corn beef was very good. No fat, not salty at all. Hamburger was homemade and the waffle fries were crisp and tasty. We also had the Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp. Homemade goodness! Our waitress said the rhubarb and strawberries were picked fresh from her garden!

It was a bitterly cold day. Cabin fever had set in with an iron grip. In an effort to simply get ourselves out of a house that was was becoming smaller and smaller by the minute, we set off in search of a café breakfast. Heading out past the edge of the suburbs we drove along, smartphones at the ready, looking for a place that would bring some calm and comfort. After driving past a few options that didn’t meet our expectations – and a few that could have, but were not open on Sunday – we found Bridge Street Café. We settled into a booth and surveyed the scene. A board of listing breakfast and lunch specials. Another one listing the daily desserts and soups. Yup. We were in the right place. Wonderful service and fantastic baked goods. The apple strudel muffin was delicious. I had the scramble: a generous portion of cubed potatoes topped with eggs, cheese, sausage, peppers and chunks of thick-cut bacon. We were too late for the home-made cinnamon rolls. They has sold out by 10:00 am. I guess we now have a reason to go back!
