Really good cannolis and fresh bread. Usually a long line but moves quickly. They ran out of semolina bread, so I’ll be back to try that!

WOW… very good deserts and BREAD. I used to buy the bread at Shoprite, but stopped here since Shoprite ran out and wow, so fresh !

Best bread! We always get bread here if we’re having company for Italian food. The artichoke loaf sliced is a favorite. We put some butter on the table with it and make sure to get the lasagne out there quick or the bread will be gone before we sit down to eat!

awesome sandwiches! Never busy like the other Italian delis in the area. Some of the best Italian bread I’ve had and I’m from longisland so that’s saying a lot.

Really enjoyed cannoli’s. Fresh and very good. I bought enough for our office, they were a big hit. Service was friendly, and place looked clean. They are apparently well known for their breads, so I plan on trying them for lunch soon.

This is a review of their bread — one of the best in Morris county. Years ago, this was owned by a family group that, if memory serves, was related to the Calandra bakery legends. Everything they had was perfection. Italian, French, rolls and, best if all, artichoke bread — fantastic. We became loyal customers. A few years ago, I think a new group took over but, so far, the bread quality has not varied. A happy situation. They are a full service Italian-style deli but I have Sergio’s in Denville for that so I can’t judge anything but the bread. If you are like me and love bread, this is a great bakery. Recommended.

Everything in this bakery is delicious and the bread is made fresh every day! Which means the subs there are amazing.

Some of the best bread in the world, and no I’m not kidding. This place has incredible bread. Quality and selection is great. Selection is better if you get there early. Don’t let the empty strip mall fool you, this place is there for a reason. They’re food is top-notch. Very cool place.

This bakery is a disgrace. Stale red velvet and cupcakes. The German chocolate cake was terrible. Go somewhere else if you want real good quality baked goods.

Great bakery. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the baked goods are amazing. Everything was fairly priced and I really enjoyed my visit. A must go to place if your ever in the area.

Death of a landmark! Tony & Vinnie’s has been a spot for decades where you were guaranteed an excellent sandwich, bread, desserts, hot food, Italian items you couldn’t get at any store. The sandwiches were the best. There is new management and personnel. I’ve given them 4 or 5 chances now and it’s so sad that their food is awful. — dry stale bread(they used to have the best bread) — barely any oil and vinegar on an Italian sub! The Olive oil is a main ingredient in an Italian sub — hard salami!!! Are you kidding me?! Genoa salami is the most important part of this sandwich! — all meats were very poor quality. I’ve actually gotten better sandwiches out of premade vending machines. So sad to see this store go so far down hill.

This review is only for the pastries. I go to tony and Vinnies to buy Napoleon, cream puffs, & eclairs every holiday when my relatives come over. They absolutely go crazy for them. The service is pretty good and I’ve never been disappointed in the quality of food.

Tony & Vinnies is an excellent spot to pick up bread, a sandwich, or some baked goods. The bread always has a nice crust, with a soft inside. Whenever I get a sub, I typically get the #1. I have never had any of their hot sandwiches or their potato salad/macaroni salad etc, but I would assume they are good. They have realyl good cookies and canolis, but I think their best product is their bread.

I don’t know about their baked goods but their sandwiches are disappointing. I’ve never had a drier eggplant parm sandwich. I feel sorry for people in this town if this the best deli in the area, hopefully they have a better alternative.

Yum!!! I love this place for the bread because it’s so good. Also, the bakery selection is nice too. I usually get tempted while waiting for my sandwich and end up getting cannoli or sfogliatelle. I like the grilled chicken, pesto, sundried tomato sandwich and the fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers sandwich but it’s hard to go wrong with anything you get. The eggplant parm is also yummy. The staff is really nice. I don’t know if Dan M. went in on a bad day, but there’s an older lady who’s always there when I go in and she’s really sweet and helpful.

The sign in the window says, «It’s all about the bread.» Damn straight. We happened into this place on that dismal part of 46 that runs from Dover into Rockaway — past the tire places and the collision specialists, just before the ShopRite. Got a basic Italian hero that was really great. Well filled, good sharp provolone, and the bread was great. In the time to get one sandwich, at least 4 other people came in just for bread. And the service was quick. Nice looking cookies and specials. Worth seeking out!

I had high hopes for this place, but they failed badly. I went in for a sandwich today and they got it totally wrong. I got home to find out the sandwich was totally wrong. So, I had to go back to the place after getting home, wait in line for 15 more minutes. I had to wait in line because the place is so absent minded or they just don’t care about the custmers to nice the bag in my hand with the sandwich I just ordered. Staff is very rude, guy could care less my sandwich was wrong. Also, should be noted I saw the lady behind the counter slice cheese for my sandwich after touching the cash register and not wearing gloves. Sounds like a health violation to me. Go someonewhere else, this place is not worth it.

Place is easy to overlook. Must have past there 20 times before I saw the sign. Great subs on fresh sub rolls. One con is that the rolls should be thicker/wider, not like subway(the old Subway joke is «one foot long and 2 inches thick!). Macaroni & potato salads are not home made and contain preservatives. With a little work, If they made the rolls a little wider & made their own macaroni/potato salads(co’mon guys it’s not that hard!) this place would be a perfect 5 stars.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Tony and Vinnie’s has THEBESTBREAD in the United States of America. I no longer live in the same state, but if I could bottle a place up and bring it with me, this would be it. The pizza bread is magnificent, eat it cold or heat it up. You get a huge portion for like 6 dollars. There are spirals of cheese and your choice of sausage or pepperoni joining the poetry. The outer shell has crusted valleys and nooks, with just the right amount of cheese creeping out on top. My fiancée would always get the mozzarella sandwich. They call it a sub roll, but it’s really like french bread/baguette. It is the best, crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside bread we’ve ever tasted. All of their bread options are absolutely incredible. I could own an entire artichoke bread loaf right now if offered the chance. Their dessert items are also very reasonably priced. The cannolis are off the wall good. They make the bread on premises and store it in these wooden cubbies, never in bags so the condensation makes it all soggy. If you’re going to get a sandwich, I suggest you get the woman with short blonde hair to make one for you because she puts together a sandwich for you like she’s your mom who wants to fatten you up. Awesome. On the outskirts of a bustling Shoprite, next to a failed Blockbuster you’ll find this gem cranking out some of the best italian bread, sandwiches and pastries you’ll ever experience.

They have great pasties and cakes. I love getting sandwiches here because the bread is fantastic. So fresh. Crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside.
