Solid pizza joint. My only complaint is that the rigatoni vodka pizza is inconsistent. Ordered it twice and there was a different type of pasta and different colored and tasting sauce each time. Nonetheless, I’ll still be back!

I recently moved back to den villa after working at a local restaurant for 20 plus years. At least 3 times a week we ordered pizza from here when Manny owned it. We fast became friends. My other friends own a beauty salon near by. Today I called to order a pie wanting to visit my old friend. When I asked if he was there I realized he no longer owned it so I canceled my pie as I only was going to see him. soon after the pizzeria called me back. my 82 year old mom was in the car and a man starting swearing at me calling me a ffff ing b and to go ffff myself… repeatedly…he said maybe he would hire a guy named Manny to make me a ffff ING pie… I was so shocked… I am grateful I don’t have to wake up next him everyday and feel sad for his staff. I guess his business isn’t doing well with the way he treats customers… beware of what you eat there. you never know what may go on it.

Ordered a salad and a pizza to be delivered. Delivery was fast and both the salad and pizza were delicious. Will be using Paradiso exclusively from now on. Thank you!!!

Pretty average. Too much cheese. Not enough sauce. Very oily. Good crust.

Best thin crust pizzas in the area! Order a large pie well done or 2 small pies and the crust will be perfect! The bread that comes with a dinner is excellent too!

We just moved to the area and we have had contractors over everyday so we make it easy and order pizza… we ordered from here today and it was the best! The veggie pizza had all fresh veggies not canned and you can see and taste the difference… The chicken parmigiano pizza was amazing! Love it… we have found our neighborhood pizza place :)

One of the worst pies I have ever eaten!!! The pizza sauce tasted old and cheese had a freezer burn taste. I am not a picky eater but had to throw it out. Place looks filthy too. Ugh!!!

The complimentary homemade bread and tapenade in olive oil alone were delicious enough to warrant the five stars. Comfortable family atmosphere with friendly, quick service and an expansive menu, this place hit the spot for us. The Caesar dressing was perfectly tangy and deserves special mention. We wished we lived closer by!

My boyfriend and I randomly stumbled upon Paradiso, hungry and craving some pizza, when we found our new favorite place. You wouldn’t expect it, as it’s situated in a mini-mall along with a hair salon and a few other random businesses, but its name is a testament to the food. We’ve only been twice, but the food is fresh, authentic, and cooked/seasoned to perfection. Both times we went we ordered the Pasta Fagioli, the best we’ve ever had(coming from an Italian family, that’s saying a lot). The pizza is some of the best we’ve had, as is the pasta he ordered(I think a rigatoni with chicken in a white wine sauce), that he won’t stop talking about! The homemade bread is so good, we wish we could order it to take home by the boatload, and the olive oil that accompanies the bread only makes it better! Another plus, this place is BYOB. The guy who is always there(maybe the owner?) is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. The service is great and you feel at home when you’re here. We plan on coming here again, often. The price, service, and quality here truly puts other Italian joints to shame.

TRYTHECHICKENCEASARSALADPIZZA! We get it everytime. Seriously the sound of salad on a pizza is not my kind of thing. But after trying this I’ve recommended it to friends and they’ve all agreed it’s amazing!!! Very crisp crust that holds up. Salad is very fresh romaine and never soggy. It’s never overly dressed and the chicken is sort of a «pulled chicken». It’s amazing and very consistent. Its just one of those things you HAVE to try trust me!!! All the other food here is great too!

My young son and I come here often and Matteo, the owner, treats us as if we were family. Homestyle portions and a very cozy atmosphere. Almost as if you were in your family’s home. I absolutely love it here. Oh and I love their house salads and the dip that comes with the bread. Yummmy!!!

A very, very informal place with large portions, great prices, and delicious pizza. The entrees are uniformly wonderful, including chicken murphy, gnocchi w/tomato & mozzarella, and veal and fish specials. BYOB, and make sure you pour Matty, the owner, a glass. This is a very small, family place, with a party atmosphere.

Probably the best pizza place in the Rockaway area and we have a lot of them. Their salads are quite good and the pizza is a nice thin crust. Sandwiches are also good. Dining room is a bit too closed in so we usually do takeout.

Yum! The food here is made fresh with quality ingredients. The pizzas have a crisp, delicious crust and really good toppings(fresh mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, etc.). The salads are really fresh and delicious too, and you get really good chewy, crusty bread to go with it. They also give you a bowl of red-tinted oil(I think it’s the leftover oil from canned sundried tomatoes) to dip your bread in. It’s awesome. They also have wraps and sandwiches and eggplant rollatini and broccoli rabe and other random dishes that change daily. The only downside is that it’s a little bit pricey, but it’s delicious.

Delicious! My husband and I totally love this place. The owner is super-duper nice, and really knows how to make a customer happy. My husband’s office is pretty close, so he goes there for the lunch special(a different surprise each afternoon) just about every day with his co-workers. Their bread is especially delicious. Give it a try!
