Mr. Appliance was dispatched for repair on my subzero refrigerator via a home warranty company-HSA. Mr. Appliance diagnosed the failure as a thermostat and evaporator. The parts were ordered via HSA, arrived damaged. This was not communicated to me until the morning of the scheduled service, a day I had taken off from work. New part arrives a week later, within 48 hours the ENTIRE appliance is not working ATALL. Resulting in $ 200 in groceries being disposed of, and prescriptions being ruined. When Mr. Appliance was contacted they could not offer service until the following Monday, 6 days later, not an apology or remote amount of consideration to this inconvenience. I contacted a Certified SubZero technician, who discovered that the thermostat, allegedly replaced by Mr. Appliance, WASNEVERREPLACED. It was the original part. The Evaporator was installed incorrectly and could have resulted in total destruction of the appliance, the replacement value of the refridgerator being $ 13,000. The repair itself cost $ 2,178, paid out by ME, 7 days before Christmas. The end result was 3 missed days of work, out of pocket $ 2K for the repair, loss of $ 200 in groceries and cost of prescription medication. Mr. Appliance, either HSA sent you out with orders to say you were replacing a part that you were not replacing or your company is in the business of fraudulently charging for parts you never replaced.

spent 500 to repair an ice machine. After 100 days it failed again. Mr Appliance wants to charge me another $ 140 as they say they only guarantee work for 90 days. Obviously did not fix the problem and then stand behind the 90 day warranty. Really shows how much they stand behind their service.
