Delicious teriyaki bowl with rice for $ 4.00. I should’ve ordered 2 though to help fill me up.

No longer in business

Considering the choices in the big metropolis of Rockaway, this was the most healthy. That is until I had a Pronto Pupil for an appetizer. Pup was a 9 out of 10. Batter was outstanding, dog pretty good. Hawaiian platter was better than most, but I’m a coniseur via Maui. Mac salad needed more flavor, pineapple slice was a nice touch. Can’t go wrong. Give a shot!

This cute little place really has only one entrée/​selection, which is their Hawaiian Style Chicken & Rice, it was very good, especially for a roadside «lunch wagon”-type place. It was filling and very affordable. It’s clean! The lady operating it was very sweet! I would give it «more stars» if there would have been even just one or two more entrée selections… there is really just ONE choice now, and it’s good, but variety is the spice of life! They usually have pronto pups too, but the machine wasn’t working… so Chicken and Rice it is! Also, probably not really their fault, but they couldn’t take a credit/​debit card today, as the phones were down (they usually can though). Quick, convenient & good!

Good food for the money. $ 7.75 for teriyaki chicken, rice and mac, plus pineapple ring. Tasty and delicious, but teriyaki could be a hair sweeter.
