Rock Hill Gynecology & Obstetrics

I have had horrible experiences here since 2012. First off, the NP at the Fort Mill location treated me in a really brisk, rude manner each time I went to see her. It was my first time at an appointment like that, so I kind of needed a little hand holding. Instead, she seemed to go out of her way to be mean. If she hates people so much, find another job.
Secondly, this year I called to ask about how I could be accommodated because the cold makes my Fibromyaglia worse. After speaking to a nurse on the phone, who was so rude that she made me cry and break out in a stutter, I refused to go back to that location.
When I spoke to the Rock Hill location, they were great about making an appointment in a warm room and told me that there were in fact things that could be done — things the nurse at the Fort Mill location ridiculed me for asking about.
However, I called to check on my appointment before leaving because I hadn’t received a confirmation call. They canceled my appointment without a call or notice. Since they didn’t have my new phone number on file, even though I would swear that they got my updated information because they immediately sent me paperwork to fill out months in advance of my appointment by mail – so why they wouldn’t have my phone number is questionable, they couldn’t contact me. However, they weren’t even going to send a letter. I was just out of luck.
I had rearranged my entire day around the 1 PM appointment. I had several other things to do. I am in poor health, so it was already hard enough on me to make the longer drive to Rock Hill. They offered me an appointment later in the day with a different NP, but, like I said, my entire day was already arranged around this single appointment. Fortunately, I wasn’t someone who had to take off work or anything like that. That would have made me really upset.
The office manager listened to my complaints, but honestly, after being treated rudely and abhorrently by a nurse at the Fort Mill office and the incompetency of the Rock Hill office, I will be finding a new practice. Nothing could induce me to go back there.
