Tim Hortons

I have been putting off writing about this place because I don’t like giving negative reviews. However, I feel like this needs to be out there. I’m giving it 3 stars although I’m never going back to any Tim Hortons. I am giving them 3 because of how the general manager Jennifer and the other manager whose name I believe is Joe, handled my situation quickly and professionally.
Last week I took a different route to work so I stopped at Tim Hortons to get a bagel (I also got an oatmeal an a vanilla latte). When I took the bagel out of the bag, I noticed something strange on the packaging. I knew what I was seeing but I didn’t want to believe it. It was a fresh, rather large, juicy booger. (gag)I asked my coworker what she thought and she agreed with me. I didn’t eat either item and I called Tim Hortons. They offered for me to take it back and get a refund. No questions asked. They were very sympathetic and grossed out just as I was. So I ended up going back and showing the manager the damaged goods and they gave me my money back and offered me some free lunch. Jennifer was very nice but I declined the offer for the food. This is my second issue with Tim Hortons within 2 weeks. They were two different locations but it was the last straw for me. I appreciate Jennifer’s actions but I feel like the worker who put the booger on the wrapper put it there deliberately and there’s no way to tell who it was so I won’t be going back. Keep an eye on your food people and inspect it before you eat it. I’m still skeeved out from this experience and it will take me awhile before I order food at any drive thru or a fast food place, if I ever decide to again.

Crazy little Tim Horton’s nestled near a busy intersection. I’ve never been inside, only used the drive through… but it’s a nice place to get some of that excellent Tim Horton’s coffee. I dig Tim Horton’s and always stop by this one when I’m working in the area. On hot days i get an Iced Capp and on cold days it’s a XXL coffee.
