Not the same food.(So Mad) So tonight my brother drove from the west side to the east side because we were craving one of the best chinese meals in town… Well It’s new owners… and my brother specifically asked the girl if the cook was the same. She said«yes it’s the same cook» Well… She lied. The food taste COMPLETELY different. I feel like i just threw my money away.

The pepper chicken was delicious. Coming here for our Christmas dinner has been a family tradition for 20+ years.

In the last two weeks or so, I have been craving Taste of China’s Hot and Sour soup. I made my husband get take out the other night just so I could have it, and a few days later I needed a whole quart to stave off this start-of-the-school-year-cold. I think it must have worked. Honestly, their hot and sour soup is the best around. The consistency of the broth is great — thick, but not slimy. And it is consistently full of mushrooms and tofu. They use the best mushrooms — not your standard button mushrooms, OHNO! The texture of their tofu is also preferable to other places I’ve been. It’s not too soft, and it’s about the only tofu I really, honestly enjoy. Cold nights are coming, and I think I’ll be stopping in for more soup. I’m so glad they are just around the corner!

Great sit down or takeout Chinese food! Until a few weeks ago, I have always driven by this plaza without any thought of stopping by. From the road, I had no idea it offered anything more than a takeout. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is great and meals are loaded with veggies and protein. Everything is fresh. Overall, I’m very happy with this place and plan on coming back!

Hot and sour soup was flavorful and chuck full o tofu, mushroom, etc. fresh not canned, a little sprinkle of green onion on top. Ordered the … it was not as spicy as I’d hoped but that’s why I own siracha. The rice was veg. fried, no sign of porky bits. Texture and moisture content good. There was a flavor I couldn’t put my finger on, a little kick of maybe 5 spice powder?
