I purchased a pair of glasses and the coating is peeling off the lenses leaving a cloudy, scratched surface. I understand that things happen but when I called to find out what my options were, all I got was attitude, I was told that I could only get a discount off a new pair of lenses. I paid a small fortune for glasses that are garbage.

I have a huge eyeglass RX and I spent a decent amount of time as usual looking for small frames to keep my lenses thin. I also prefer to buy hi-index lenses with anti-reflection coating to make these coke bottles look half decent. I also DONOT have vision insurance, so 500 – 700 dollars for 2 pair of glasses is not uncommon to me. I got the call that my glasses were in-they had to be ordered out since there is no lab at this location. I tried them on and could see out of them but there was no way I got the special lenses I ordered. They were thick and made of plastic lens material-not hi-index but had AR coating. While I was trying them on the guy was on a phone talking to someone and had very little time for my concerns. And they were concerns considering I paid almost 550 bucks out of pocket. I told him when he got off the pone and gave me the«try them out for a week» spiel, that I wanted a full refund. He was obviously disappointed, but agreed with me there was no use in even trying them out if I was not happy with the way they looked. I got a credit on my bankcard and went on my way. I probably won’t return though.
