Chrissy has the Midas Touch when it comes to hair. She the only one who really gets my curls. She makes my hair function. She knows everything there is about hair and makeup, and she takes her knowledge to work with her. She is a talented and professional makeup artist and hair stylist. I can truly say she’s a pleasure to work with.

I cannot thank Chrissy and her girls enough for all they did for us on my wedding day. It was the MOST BEAUTIFUL I have ever felt in my entire life. :) :) And I can honestly say that it was the first wedding I’ve ever been a part of where every single girl loved their hair and make-​up. Everyone looked like the most beautiful version of themselves. Chrissy and her girls seriously knocked it out of the park!!! And to top it all off, I had so much fun getting to know Chrissy. It was the icing on the cake that spending my wedding morning with Chrissy felt like I was with a good girlfriend, and not just a wedding vendor. :) I would highly, highly recommend going with Special Occasion Hair Design! :)

Chrissy and her team were absolutely amazing. The fact that they traveled to our location made the morning of the wedding so relaxing. They arrived on time and ready to get into the «zone». The team was very focused and extremely attentive to each girl’s needs, not to mention they were so fun! Chrissy created an environment where you felt very comfortable being honest with any changes that you wanted done.
Chrissy and her team are the epitome of professionalism and I would highly recommend them for any special occasion. Everyone looked so beautiful and the hair and make-​up looked flawless for 15+ hours.

They were absolutely wonderful!
Chrissy and her team were a total delight. For my wedding, four of them came to do our hair & makeup; between our moms, sisters, friends and myself, there were 9 of us. It was a 1920s themed wedding, and the team showed up all done in themed hair and makeup for us to see.
Everyone looked amazing. Our hair and makeup lasted all day and night. We all looked and felt beautiful. They were fun to spend the morning with on our especial day.
We paid a little extra for one member of the team (Renee) to come to the wedding for a bit because I was afraid we’d need make up touched up before pictures. We did not need it, but she jumped right in, making sure we looked perfect in every picture and she even picked up in several places where our wedding coordinator failed. She helped me get into my gown, touched up my lipstick… Everything.
I recommend them whole heartedly and with joy & confidence.

You cannot go wrong working with Chrissy. From the first e-​mail to the last bobby pin she was a pleasure to work with. I had an image in my head and I could not believe the perfect execution. She listened to every request, and made me feel very comfortable telling her if I wanted something different. The hair and make up trial left me with one of the few things I could check off my list to not have to worry about any more for the wedding. The day of she was there right on time with her fabulous team. They worked on everyone from ages 9 to 84 and didn’t miss a beat. My wedding morning was so much fun, with no stress. I cannot express enough how rare and important that is for a bride. We all sat back, sipped champagne, and let the masters do their work. Everyone’s hair and make up held through out the entire day (even during 85 degree/​sunny/​humid mid afternoon pictures and lots of dancing into the evening)! I could not have asked for anything more.
