You guys are my favorite. Such good quality coffee/frappes/Capps/steamers etc… It’s a tid pricey but if you go here on a nice weekend from time to time to read a book or do work on your lap top then I’d suggest trying out this hole in the wall that’s close to Ontario beach! Their banana peanut butter frappé is so much better than Starbucks, honestly if you have the cash in hand and are in the area just forget the chain coffee places and support this tasty local business ;)

Counter service. Great coffee, love the sandwiches and wraps. Clean location and friendly employees. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 is they are SLOW. Don’t plan on quickly running in to grab a coffee and sandwich.

Great coffee shop in the north section of Irondequoit. This is a frequently used meeting spot for locals. Lots of different coffee drinks and smoothies. I love their quiche with side salad. They also have sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and meal-size salads. If you are looking for a unique gift, you can put together your own basket with a cute mug, coffee, and some cookies. They also have artwork on display that is for sale.

Sips has a huge menu selections of drinks! They also serve food and sweets. I ordered the lavender latte with chocolate instead of vanilla as suggested by the barista. It so was freaking amazing. My friends for cold drinks and loved theirs as well. I’ll definitely be back to try their other lattes. They have a giant selection of flavors you can add to any drink or customize your drink.

Sips is like a closely held secret for residents on the north side of town. It’s a tiny little coffee shop tucked away in the Stutson Bridge Plaza. Sips is perfectly located, because there really isn’t another good coffee shop anywhere around. It’s out of the way, quiet, and a perfect place to grab something warm. They make a great caramel latte! Sips is a little local gem, and I am always glad to be able to meet friends here and support this business. I feel comfortable here, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Their sandwiches and panninis are tasty, and I can always count on getting something fresh and delicious. I also enjoy their breakfast options. For a tiny place, they do have a large selection. Also, for the holidays or birthday, they have a great«make your own basket» center near the front. You can buy per-wrapped gift baskets, or design one specifically for the likings of your special someone!

I bought the Haunted Hayride steamer. It was delicious. The servers were very friendly and outgoing. They have a lot of coffee choices and some lunch food options. I really liked the small quaint atmosphere.

I was looking for a Starbucks in the area, but when I realized it was kind of far away, I looked for a coffee place around the lake. I’m glad I found this nice little café. It had a ton of different coffee types and flavors. After looking at the long list of drinks for a minute, I decided to go with the pumpkin pie latte. It was delicious! They also have a nice menu with sandwiches/soups, etc.

Love this place. it is at a 5mins driving distance from the Lake Ontario Beach Park. They have a variety of options on their menu, right from grabbing a cup of coffee to grabbing a bite. Their coffee menu is great and one of its kind in Rochester. Go ahead and grab something from here before you head to the beach.

Been my coffee hangout for 7 years. If I am going to spend money on lunch or breakfast I rather spend it there. The girls and some times guy work hard to please the customers and make sure their experience is a good one. I go to other establishments and compare the service and it just is not the same.

Seems to be a a popular place amongst locals. The staff seem to know their customers by name. Coffee was pretty decent. I got the lavender vanilla iced latte, and it was quite delicious. I made sure to tell them to only put half the syrup, as I hear it can get really really sweet. This place is not your fancy latte art type coffee shop, but their drinks are quite tasty. They also have a nice menu of food items. Their broccoli cheddar quiche is absolutely delicious! Ample of street parking and wifi is available.

Despite burning the milk, my latte was ok. Good for suburban upstate New York actually but definitely nothing to go out of your way for. It’s one of those 2nd wave coffee shops that have a zillion things going on when you walk in. Huge chalkboards with 100 menu items written in rainbow chalk, selling everything from 25 varieties of beans to commercially mixed chai, to make-your-own candy baskets. The coffee isn’t the focus-just one if many offerings and their lack of attention to detail reflects it. The have a subpar machine, high school age baristas who don’t know anything about their beans, and they burn the milk. I should be able to drink my latte immediately. 20 minutes have passed and I still can only sip it. Please take the temperature of the milk-it should be between 60 – 65! In summary if you’re desperate… sure. It’s marginally better than Starbucks.

Ordered a dirty chai and pleased they knew what it was when it wasn’t on the menu. However it was almost $ 4 for a small, which I was annoyed with, but at the same time is typical of any specialty drink. I asked for it to be topped off with coffee when I had about a quarter left and still had to pay the full small coffee price– not the best«keep the customer happy» service. Lots of cookies and baked goods– I had a chocolate shortbread cookie for $ 0.60. Their menu is extensive for lunch– paper menu a lot longer than the blackboard above the counter. There was a constant stream of people in and out for the entire time I was there, which always makes me think it must be pretty good. I would like to try their food and and re-review.

They have the best ice coffee! It is made with shots of espresso. Their staff is super friendly. I jog there with my dog and he enjoys the water bowl they leave outside by the tables.

Drinks are too sweet. Unless you’re Willy Wonka, ask them to go light on the syrup. Iced Coffee kind of tastes like coffee flavored water if you like the strong stuff. Girls behind the counter are super friendly but it takes longer than it should to get a drink. Not sure how it was voted best coffee shop in Rochester or by who but its certainly not the case. 3⁄5 stars, would caffeinate again under desperate measures.

Adorable little coffee house, I love the inside! I don’t come out this way much, but my favorite restaurant is right next door. Decided to stop over for coffee afterwards and so happy I did. Delicious coffee and lattes. I overlooked their menu and it looks really good! I noticed a chicken pesto panini, and boy does that have my name all over it. They had cookies and other sweets available but I was so full from dinner I could only intake a hot beverage. During the summertime, they Will set up some tables outside, nice if you want to catch a light breeze but nothing to look at but a parking lot lol. It’s a nice option though! Would love to come back to try more, just am no where near the location.

We like Sips! They offer some delicious flavored coffees as well as an assortment of specialty drinks(they make a lavender latte, for example) and baked goods(which are good). They also offer a range of food items, like salads and sandwiches. I haven’t yet tried them(usually we go after dinner), but man, they’re tempting! It’s a great place to go to sit and relax, talk, and have a cup of coffee. Some of their merchandise can be interesting to browse as well. It’s also nice that it’s close to the beach. The atmosphere is what makes me rate this as 4 out of 5. If there’s more than two customers there, it feels crowded. A long, narrow restaurant can easily feel congested. Also, some of the machines are extremely noisy and will temporarily make conversation impossible. Still, it’s a nice, casual coffee shop with a pleasant staff and great options. They do have some creative menu options. Strawberry soup? Lavender lattes? Sure! I don’t think I’ve had a beverage which smelled(and tasted) like a flower. I think most people would like the regular coffees as well as the odd, interesting, unique selection of beverages they offer. They also have quiche every day! I haven’t tried it, but it’s nice to see that it’s offered.

A moderately convenient little coffee shop located in a glamour-free strip mall off Pattonwood across from the harbor, Sips is not a modest café. Voted best local coffee shop of the world or something of that sort, there are signs bragging about how much their patrons love them. Rightfully so, they serve a delicious latte and prompt service is always kind. Most recently I was brave and opted for the the Lavender Fields Latte. I feared I would regret this(lavender is a flower and flowers do not belong in coffee…), but had faith in their«#1» status and went with it. Delicious. I say this with seriousness — we are looking for a house in the neighborhood simply to be near this concoction. That’s a complete exaggeration, though we are looking in this area and I am thrilled to have a perfect little coffee house near by. We’ve only tried their baked goods, which are tasty, but I look forward to trying their salads and sandwiches soon. They take credit cards but have a sign(or two) asking cash only for under $ 10 purchases. If you feel so inclined to abide this rule but are only getting a mocha, I’m sure you could find a cute mug as a gift for that admin assistant whose birthday is tomorrow and you totally forgot, or a bag of beans could also put you over the $ 10 mark. They sell baskets for $ 4(or so) that you are able to fill with whatever you like to create a coffee themed gift that would be absolutely adorable for a coffee lover.
