Great selection of glasses, however the optometrist was awful. She found something wrong with one of my eyes and wrote a note for my ophthalmologist. He couldn’t see anything wrong, but ran several expensive tests, which found nothing. Then she told my husband he has cataracts that need to be taken care of fairly soon. The ophthalmologist told him he’s years away from cataracts, and wrote a prescription that was so far off from the prescription he had just gotten at See. The doctor said there is no way his prescription could have changed that much in such a short time, so we had to replace the glasses that we had just spent $ 800 on. Get your glasses at See, but get your prescription somewhere else.

I love See’s glasses and think the product is a great value. Unfortunately I had bad customer service today. I purchase a pair of sunglasses every season from see. I went in today and purchased a pair and no one offered to really help me. Then as I’m checking out I explained the case broke on my other pair and I was informed I’d have to buy a new case for $ 10. That’s not good customer service as I’m purchasing a new pair as well. Won’t be back.

If you’re going in, ask for Erin who earned the initial five stars. I worked with Destiny and what a disaster. Fake I could handle. Impatient, rude and inexperienced, I could not.

This place is great. Cool styles, good prices, and a friendly staff. Pretty much says it all :)

I was checking on my lens warranty, which expired on my watch, as the coating was wearing out, due to my personal wear & tear, so I priced out new lenses $ 175 & decided to keep this fave frame. But I wanted to get over to Fraser Eye Care to get a long overdue exam. Why get new lenses on a 2 year old script?
Fast forward to today 4−4−13
Walked in Jessica was on duty, in another pair of over sized plum specs!
She greeted me & plugged in my script & benefits & came up with a very good price.
Fortunately I planned ahead, knowing I was dropping these off for a week, needed a spare pair to drive home with & function.

The ordering was effortless & hassle free, and Jessica is sweet, warm & very personable.

The staff here is awesome and the customer service isamazing and EXTRAORDINARY! I went in before I bought my glasses and the manager Erin spent an hour helping me pick glasses. I came back two weeks later and she was just as awesome! I love the selection and can’t wait to get my new glasses! I highly recommend SEE.

I ordered a pair of glasses and after receiving them, they just did not work for me. I went back in to exchange them and they really too the time making sure I got the pair that was perfect for me! They were very attentive, and truly helpful in my decision. When I came to pick up the new glasses, they made a tiny adjustment to them and they were perfect! The staff is great, always friendly, and the frame styles are definitely different than other chain-​stores. Overall, great place!

I swear See is my favorite store to go to because you can try on so many different looks without removing a single piece of clothing.. . though sometimes you just have to. Already I have no idea where this review is going?…
I was first introduced to See when my friend Madelyn was looking for new frames about 3 years ago. At that time I had never had an eye test but I fell in love with a pair of frames that prompted me to take advantage of the $ 29.00 student exam. I learned that I have a slight astigmatism and that my eyesight could be better. For some reason I didn’t end up ordering the frames.. . I kind of kick myself still for that. But what was amazing is that I made friends with all of the stores fabulous workers. I love places that know you by your first name and remember details about you even if you don’t buy things from them! They will also teach you what frames to avoid or why some work better than others, i.e. wearing white plastic frames and smiling shows off how coffee stained my teeth really are (I know, hot, right?).
See stocks an eclectic assortment of glasses including metal and plastic frames. You will find them in every color and even some with rhinestones! There is even a sale rack. This is why I love this place.
Fast forward to this year, where I have been to visit See many times to keep up on their new looks and hot styles and I really fell in love with a pair of frames. They are round, green, magic glasses that I believe I am the only one out there that can rock them – I swear I’m not conceited. I ended up having to get my eyes checked again because it had been two years and because their doctors’ schedules I ended up getting my eyes checked at Somerset (their doc is in Thursday afternoon).
I finally returned to See and was able to order my frames just in the knick of time! Because their stock is always rotating I was this close to losing out on them. Within a week they were ready for me to pick up and share them with the world.
I heart See. I don’t need to wear glasses but I love that they make everything clearer. I think See has the best assortment for original looking frames at low prices. I think is fabulous they send out coupons to their customers for you and a friend to use. I actually am really anxious about ordering another pair of glasses from See.
If you need glasses, sunglasses, opera glasses, or even a monocle (well maybe not?) please visit See in Rochester. I promise a first rate experience and then you have the bonus of walking across the street to Maggie (Margaret) Moo’s for an ice cream cone. Delicious. If you can’t make it out to Rochester there are other locales in Birmingham, Somerset, and Ann Arbor.

All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW! my experience here is as good as it gets! The employees here are so friendly and they REALLY love their job. The young girl that helped me today did an amazing job helping me pick out a pair of glasses. If I could I would give this place a 6 out of 5 stars. You have a customer for life in me!

I wish every experience with a business was like an experience at SEE in Rochester Hills.
First, SEE is a Michigan owned company that was created by the former owner of D.O.C. It’s a store and a brand that is committed to bringing quality, unique eyewear to the public at an affordable price. After going to SEE and wearing their glasses for 2+ years I see no reason to go to a boring mall chain ever again.
Second, the Rochester Hills store is phenomenal. The employees here love their job and they treat their customers well. They remember you even if you haven’t been there in a year or two and they remember the kind of glasses they sold you. Furthermore, they give you honest advice and opinions when choosing eyewear without being pushy. They know you need glasses and they want you to wear the best for your face and your vision. They will sell you an inexpensive pair if that’s what you love and looks best on you. They offer great assistance when choosing eyewear and will help you for hours when picking out a pair of glasses.
The eye exams are inexpensive. I had a quick helpful eye exam and then proceded to buy some amazing frames. I just returned today to buy two more sets of frames because they are so amazing. I love SEE and want everyone to get their eyeglasses here. And don’t be daunted by the interesting styles. They have interesting, not crazy, frames. Go in and try them out and I’m sure you’ll find a pair you love.

In addition to all things excellent in the service and frame departments, I also had my eye exam there since I no longer have vision insurance and their prices were pretty competitive ($ 99 for a contact lens exam.) I was ecstatic that the doc there chooses to do a different glaucoma test than the puff of air (contraption from hell.) They were also very understanding when it seemed like the universe was trying to keep me from going back in for my contact lens check. Now, just a hair over a week later my contact lens and frame order are in the store awaiting my visit to pick them up. And unlike all those awful frames I had in the 80s/​90s, I will still happily where my old SEE frames because they are still cool (and not just the pair I had to settle for because they were all I could afford.)
