You need a membership to come here but it is worth the price. I’ve been here for many weddings and most of my family belongs to the Yacht Club. We were too early for the dinner menu because my parents are early birds lol but the menu they offered was perfect for us. I had the lobster bisque to start and it was the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had. There are actual huge chunks of perfectly cooked lobster in it. Any other time I’ve ever ordered it from somewhere else its been minced pieces of lobster and has been disappointing. We also got the Chemembert Crisp which is Chemembert cheese, covered and almonds and pecans, put in the oven and topped with apple and pear conserve. It is served over salad mix with a very tasty olive oil and bread. It was my first time having it and it was tremendous. Most of us got chicken wraps which were average. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the people who work there are very personable and know the meaning of hospitality. Oh and make sure you get the ice cream for dessert! They make it in house and its the best ice cream we’ve ever had, very creamy, not too sweet, just perfect. I definitely recommend this place if you ever get the chance or know someone who is a member. Their brunch is top notch too!

Beware! Sailing School is Not recommended. We had 4 kids attend — each was under 12 years old. They collectively said: «Instructors were mean.» With nasty tone the kids are threatened to «Sit down, leave your life jacket alone, and if you don’t listen I will call the Director over here.» They said swim lesson are«do this, do that.» One of our child admittedly has social issues, and can be challenging. With a smile and a re-assuring firm handshake the Director suggests he understands and will appropriately address any problems. Later, the other kids report he immediately presumed this child was the cause of every incident, and starts by asking our child why is he «always the one having the difficulty.» Thanks Director, appreciate your patience and forthrightness. This child recently(prompting this review) disclosed the Director placed him in a 2HOURTIMEOUT! «Certified» Instructors are young, lack any credentials or clinical experience in teaching groups of children with any differing needs. They have«kit gloves» in handling the one child labeled with Autism by overlooking almost anything he did, but our undiagnosed child(who admittedly has some impulse issues involving not talking back) gets no latitude. He’s too dis-respectful and disruptive. These instructors drive Daddy’s Saab convertible(no exaggeration), and think their nautical knowledge and«yahoo» attitude overcomes any patience and hard work expectations. .. The other 3 kids agreed they did not want to attend a second week, and the instructors were not nice. Be prepared for the attitudes and behaviors of those elite youths, who serve as instructors.
