I’ve been driving by here for over a year and hadn’t seen a review on Unilocal. In the back of my head I kept thinking I have to try this place. Finally, this afternoon I decided to give it a go. Parking is limited, but at 1:00 on a Wednesday, it wasn’t crowded. Service is cafeteria style. You tell them what you want and they serve it up in to go containers. Sizes small medium and large. A small is $ 5. They squeezed a lot of food in the small container!!! Locals come here and they love it. The girl next to me said you just have to smell it to know it’s good! And it was. I had rice and beans with the chicken. I thought the chicken was a little bland, but the beans were quite tasty and filled me up on this chilly grey afternoon. Looked like they have a variety of empanadas(not sure if that’s what they are called in PR) including pulpo! Maybe I’ll try that next time. I wasn’t sure about all of the other choices. I need my Boricuans to help me out… Maybe we’ll make it a date. But be warned there is limited seating. One or two small tables. Maybe. This place is really meant for take out.
