I went in a few weeks ago, after hearing many great things about the shop. I was«helped» by a gentleman that I assume was one of the owners. I told him that we were having some trouble with our current cd’s leaking and explained briefly what some of our issues were and what I thought was going on… He decided that it was a good time to start sweeping as I was talking to him. I found that rude, I went there for help and was told that they were a great place to go. I went on to say that I thought I wanted to try some hemp inserts and prefolds to stuff our diapers with because that was a common suggestion that I was getting. He very eagerly went over to a wall and a shelving unit that had bundles of prefolds and a basket of hemp inserts to fulfill me needs. I didn’t know if that was what I needed/wanted, they’re the experts right? I wanted to talk about what they thought I should try, what they thought could be the problem… That clearly wasn’t happening. He did ask about our wash routine and if I wanted to sign up for their diaper service. I had heard that they had a large variety of used items at the consignment sale that they were running. As soon as I asked about that, his Cheshire Cat grin grew and he directed me to the other side of the shop. There was another lady browsing around at the consigned items, he asked her if she used cloth diapers, she no sooner opened her mouth and I was pawned off. We started talking, this nice lady was a few months along in her first pregnancy and had never used cloth diapers before. I ended up helping her and answering her questions as best I could. I managed to find one used hemp insert and grabbed a stack of prefolds from the mountain of prefolds from their retired diaper service. I figured I’d better see if another sales person thought these would be good to try. I went back to the other part of the store where the new diapers and related products were. There was a woman who I think was another owner, she was helping someone with hemp inserts… Yay! «She’ll help me!» I stood there, listening… I asked a couple of questions and received very brief answers… At that point I just gave up. I picked up a set of 2 new hemp inserts and just went over to pay. The woman who I had just been trying to have help me ended up cashing me out, she took all of my pertinent info to set me up in their computer system. The words«did you find everything you were looking for today?» were never uttered. As I was leaving a few adults and a couple of children came in, they got a warm welcome. I’m not sure what the problem was, but, honestly… it felt like I wasn’t «crunchy» enough for them. I have never left a review, my experience just keeps playing in my head and I thought that if I left a recap of my shopping experience maybe it won’t happen to the next mom who is just trying to get some cloth diaper help.

Small and friendly store that has an assortment of cloth diaper options for us crunchy granola types. The staff is always very helpful. I wish it was bigger so that they could carry more toys and clothing and I could continue to support them even though I’m done buying diapers.

My wife and I visited this shop today. We were searching for stores that provided cloth diapers. Luvaboos had in stock many several different brands of products in many styles and sizes. Service was good and the owner nicely educated us on cloth diapers and specifics related to the items carried in store. Store was clean and orderly. Would visit and shop again.
