I also would give a ZERO star rating if I could. We used Hank Parker’s for my wedding and it was a very disappointing and extremely expensive ordeal. The side panels on the tent we rented were ripped and unusable. We also ordered silver fans, and we received mismatched fans(one was bright orange) and they all sounded like jet engines, so they were unusable as well. The chairs we rented were absolutely filthy and we had to spend hours cleaning them. There was roughly $ 900 worth of unusable rental items. We wrote a lengthy letter requesting a refund(included pictures with the letter) and they totally ignored us. Called and the manager would not get back to us. We are considering a civil suit, which is ludicrous, because a respectable company should work with it’s customers to make things right.

I was looking to rent chairs and had recently missed a sale at Hank Parker. I called to ask if they would do me the courtesy of extending the sale to me. I spoke with Eric. He immediately said«The sale is over,» which I asked if they might be willing to extend the sale to me he curtly said, «No.» I asked to speak with his supervisor who I would think would have better customer service skills. I asked if he could transfer me and he said, «She’s out.» I asked when she’d return he said, «I have no clue.» I asked if she worked M-F 9 – 5 and he elusively said, «Most days.» I asked if she he could transfer me to her voicemail. He said, «She doesn’t have voicemail.» So I finally asked if he could write down a note asking her to call me. All of his responses to my questions were so rude and when I was speaking to him about his supervisor I felt like I was talking to a child. You don’t know when she’ll be back, she has an irregular schedule, AND she doesn’t have voicemail… yeah…right. What a frustrating experience!

Do not use these clowns. I’ve never seen such incompetence AND disrespect. Trusting them with my wedding was a huge mistake. They showed up and had almost nothing that i ordered correct, and when I called to figure out I was connected to a ‘manager’ named Jacob who I can only assume was the owners son. I could hear his fellow golfer a in the background as he yelled at me for interrupting his Saturday.

HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLEEXPERIENCE!!! They deserve zero stars!!! Brides beware!!! I had the worst experience using them for rentals for my wedding. I had ordered draping from them and it was a nightmare. The first problem I had was that the fabric that they used for the draping was all wrinkled! I had paid for the wall to be draped from top to bottom and they didn’t bring enough fabric to the venue and only half of the walls were draped. It looked horrible and it ruined all of my pictures! I then called the company to request a refund and after several attempts to contact them the owner finally called me back. He refused to only ogive me a small portion of my money back. Finally he came up a little bit and said he would send a check right away to me. I still have not received it!!! I had to call them again and he is claiming that he said the check would take 4 weeks to get to me. Such a poorly run company. DONOTUSETHEM!!!

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company and would never use them again! After laying out and designing a booth space for an event I had I ordered several room dividers and some pipe and drape from them. I also spoke with a very nice lady on the phone about what I required and emailed her a schematic. The day I arrived at the event I found out that nothing I had ordered had been delivered. I called(while in the middle of a very busy show) and again spoke with a very nice woman who apologized profusely and told me I would not be charged, A few days later I was shocked to see my credit card was charged for the goods and services I never received. I called my credit card company and refuted the charges. I got a phone call a few weeks later from a man who was questioning why we I had disputed the charges. After several frustrating attempts to explain the situation, he suggested I take the phone number of the contractor he used and call him to ask about whether or not the room dividers and pipe and drape I ordered were delivered.(which they were not) Sorry guy, but It is not my responsibility to check up on the people in your employ to make sure they did their job, that’s yours as a business owner. As of today we are still in dispute, but I will never work with them again.

If I could give Hank Parker rental ZERO stars I would. We recently used them to rent pipe and drape for a convention. From the day I tried to work them till today, it has been nothing but a debacle. After calling them 4 – 5 times and finally letting them know I was upset that my calls were not being returned, Laura called me back. I sent Ms. Laura a very accurate drawing of what was needed at the convention. She said it would not be a problem and gave me a quote of $ 100. I agreed, gave her my credit card and she said it would be delivered at the convention. On the day of the show when we showed up to set up, nothing was in place. After repeated phone calls and not having our calls returned, we had to make do by using existing pipe and drape and calling a friend for extra drapes. The monday following the convention, I called Laura and she said she was sorry and would refund me the money. At this point I had been charge $ 225 which was $ 125 more than the original amount. After waiting a whole 10 days, I disputed the change with the credit card company and had the money refunded to me. The owner of the company called me and apologized, meanwhile his own employee called my partner and threatened to never give them a break at the convention if they did not pay the money. There are plenty other companies in town and I would never ever do business with them again.
