Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Staff go above and beyond to provide excellent service. The check out process is quick and well organized. The only negative is that the parking lot is sometimes crowded when dropping off your personal vehicle, making it stressful.

Consistently good service. I am in this business several times a month to get a car. The staff is always courteous and quick to get me on my way. Always a good experience.

I can’t recommend this location. Check that, let me say that I would recommend you really, really, consider going elsewhere if you can.
My car insurance company (which I like) has a «relationship» with Enterprise so I ended up here while my car was in the shop for repairs.
(1) they called to set up a time for me to come pick-​up a vehicle and were focused on trying to up-​sell me into a larger vehicle than my insurance would cover (at an extra cost to me), rather than say trying to help.
(2) it may be Enterprise, but they don’t pick you up. Nor do they even tell you how to find them, they just remind you when they’ll be closing [which is surprisingly and inconveniently early in the evening]. FYI — the service does not increase as it gets closer to closing, rather it has an inverse relationship. They also begin wrapping up 15 minutes before the 6 pm closing hour.
(3) when you arrive, (if you can find them by their un-​lit signage) they tell you that they know it is to be covered by the insurance company, but they demand a credit card number anyway, and also try to get you to pay for extra fees for their insurance (really, wtf?) — the insurance company has an ongoing relationship with you and you try to sell me added insurance for the car they are paying for, wow (really sh*tty)
(4) oh, surprise they don’t have the size car they told you they would put you in, when they called you, but they’re going to upgrade you (for free) into a larger model. [ You think — oh the larger car you tried to sell me less than two hours ago over the phone, see #1 above ]
(5) the gas tank isn’t full, it is almost ¾ full, so they say, «well, just return it at the same level» and they do mark that on the paperwork correctly, thanks for that.
(6) while there is no damage to the outside of the car seen during the walk through [done with a flashlight in their woefully under-​lit parking lot], there is no walk through of the interior (now I know why) and it was f**king filthy! While I can overlook a dirty exterior in upstate NY in December-​January [ which just demonstrates the shoddiness of the operation at this location ] the interior should be cleaned between rentals.
(7) The interior was F**KING FILTHY. Stains on every seat’s upholstery, ignore the carpet, just don’t look, the dash was dusty (sticky) and the steering wheel and the center console had layers of spills that made the surfaces tacky. Yes, I actually cleaned up parts of the interior of the rental car, just so I could keep using it.
(8) the worst thing was the smell of the interior [ fyi — Fabreze fabric spray does have it’s limit as to what it can do, as does driving with the windows down in January ] — if you can imagine a combination of unwashed-​human-​body-​odor, old cigarette smoke [ it was clearly marked non-​smoking ] and a smell that could have come from someone having shampoo-​ed their pet dog in curry, then you have the musty stank that was infused into that Chevy Cruze.
(9) up returning the car — ten days before they expiration of the terms of your insurance coverage, they refuse to give you a receipt saying they will have to confirm the overage with the Insurance company. There is no «overage» wtf?!
On a positive note, (?) Enterprise did leave me a voice mail (disingenuously) saying there would be no added charges and that everything was all settled. Amazingly, this happened one day after I notified my insurance company of the utter dissatisfaction with this experience.
FYI — your policy (and NY law) should generally allow you to choose which company you use for rental car replacement, and the terms will likely revolve around the daily reimbursement amount and number of days — [this is not legal advice but a suggestion that your know what you policy covers or doesn’t, and what you are paying before you need to use it ] — Seriously.

I returned the car with my dad in law at this location, and was told the drop off was farther and expected therefore, they were not going to be able to drop us back to our destination. Seeking resolution, Brandon the branch manager sought to resolve the problem without us mentioning anything. We were able to drive a different vehicle to a nearby location where we reside (they were close Sunday) and just allowed us to drop the car off without extra cost. We then were able to have someone pick us up at a closer destination, and not have to wait longer to get picked up. I was happy with the result and appreciated the extra mile he had went.
