Hours of Operation on Unilocal are wrong they close at 3pm everyday. I went around 8 and I drove 20 minutes to find out that they were closed. Super mad. I should have checked on Google.

I love this place more than Panera! My fiancé and I both ordered the chicken pomodori panini and mac and cheese, it comes with a bag of chips. Total for 2 people about $ 20. The food was delicious as always. They also bring your food out to you. You don’t need to throw away your stuff after because they clean up after you.

Nothing too remarkable but much better than the average chain of this sort. I love the breakfast potatoes, but they lack any sort of coffee beyond a basic cup.

Bland coffee, high-school level service, unclean utensils… And how can they run out of «breakfast potatoes» during brunch hours on a Sunday? Not recommended and will not come back.

Went in to order a chicken apple sausage breakfast flat after this was recommended by a colleague yesterday. The cashier did not listen. I had to greet her and ask for my order in which she responded — you want a panini? I said No, I’d like a breakfast flat. The chicken apple sausage one with egg whites. She may be new? She didn’t know where to find this on the computer and when asking for help, she didn’t sub the egg whites for the eggs(noticed on my receipt and asked the kitchen to correct while they were still cooking). She asked if I’d like anything else and I said No. She asked — Are you sure you don’t want a drink? Nothing? I’m pretty sure she’s trying to do well at her job but it appears she needs some polishing and needs to listen better. I’m not sure I’ll return. The food was OK but not good enough to return to service like that.

I wanted to have brunch here with my family– the hours listed stated open til 9pm and when we arrived at 330 pm the door said closed sun to Saturday at 3pm. Had I known this I would not have waisted my time driving here. All the other locations close at 9pm. Not a great experience.

The Wi-Fi is slow and frequently cuts out. Feels like a bait and switch — the availability of Wi-Fi is a factor when choosing somewhere for a quick bite. Not a fan. Food and coffee isn’t good enough to make up for the lost productivity.

Pretty much the same as Panera Bread — sandwiches, salads, baked goods, etc. Free wifi, so I came here to work. Enjoyed a cinnamon bun, which they heated up for me and a large fountain drink — which I went with a hibiscus lemonade.

Great lunch spot with fresh ingredients and a great selection of sandwiches and salads. I’ve eaten here with coworkers on numerous occasions and we’ve always had positive experiences. Although I can only personally speak for vegetarian items which have all been very tasty and fresh, my carnivore friends and coworkers all enjoy their food too. For how busy they are during lunch, it’s surprising how quickly your food is ready. It’s clearly a sign of a well– managed establishment. Staff are always friendly, too.

I really want to like this place, so I keep going back to give them another chance. Every time I’ve been disappointed. Their service is the slowest I’ve ever encountered at ANY fast casual restaurant. I often would order online or call ahead to skip the line, but would still end up waiting 10 minutes for my food to be prepared(and that’s only after I had to flag down an employee to ask why my food wasn’t ready). I generally find that there are a lot of workers, but none of them seem to be doing much of anything. They’re standing around or walking around aimlessly, but none of them understand the meaning of customer service. I shouldn’t have to wait that long for an order that should have been ready before I even got there. When my order is prepared correctly it’s usually pretty tasty, but it’s rare that it’s correct. On my most recent trip a friend ordered their mac and cheese(which we get often), and it DIDN’T HAVEANYCHEESEONIT. When we took it up to the counter, the manager tried to play it off that it was supposed to be that way. Normally their mac and cheese is thick and creamy. She prepared another one for my friend, but it was just as abysmal. If you’re really in no hurry and don’t mind waiting 30 minutes for a sandwich while dealing with incompetent workers, then this is the place for you. I wish I could leave a better review because, like I said, the food is good. The customer service is just horrible, which makes me not want to return.

I absolutely find Corner Bakery to be a step up from Panera… although it feels weird to say that. Oddly enough, I had never stopped in here, and only experienced Corner Bakery while visiting friends in Baltimore(they are everywhere in downtown Baltimore!). I really enjoyed it, so when a friend and I were getting together for a casual lunch today, I suggested this place as a centrally located spot. I do agree with others that this place does breakfast/brunch-y type items the best. I usually end up getting their four berry or carrot ginger smoothie with the«yogurt protein boost», and it’s delicious and very filling. They offer lots of breakfast items– egg white omelets with fruit and toast. As with a previous reviewer, I had not tried this place because I thought it was a traditional bakery with just coffee/pastries! I’ve also had the Asian Chicken Salad, and it was very filling with tons of vegetables and a vibrant dressing. There is plentiful seating, and I found the service very friendly. I live close, so I imagine I’ll be back for a quick meal or snack often!

I like the Corner Bakery. Given a choice between Panera’s and like places, I’d take Corner Bakery each time. I like the freshness of the salads, the breads, the chili and my weakness, oatmeal raisin cookies! There is rarely any trouble finding a good table. The atmosphere of dark woods adds to the ambiance. Service time can be unpredictable. A 20 minute wait is not unusual. For a sandwich shop, that’s bordering on unreasonable. But, the food is typically on the mark. If you are not in a hurry and don’t mind a possible wait, then head to the Corner Bakery.

Is it weird that I don’t love this place as much as Panera? Perhaps I’ve tried the wrong items… But it’s a welcome location for impromptu meetings(or planned ones for that matter). — lots of seating — big parking lot — free wifi — caffeine… I’ve had a few items on the lunch menu that are good options, but nothing stand out: — Tomato basil soup(healthier option since it’s broth-based) — Caesar salad — Coffee with a bagel and cream cheese(I prefer the coffee over the espresso bevs here) — Tomato mozz sandwich I think I’m going to have to give the breakfast sammies and paninis a try — those look like they’re the shining star here. It is nice that it’s bistro-style and offer healthy options for breakfast and lunch. I’ll be back, but it’s not usually my first choice.

I avoided this perfect pre-shopping lunch spot based on the name and location thinking it was an actual bakery that perhaps served coffee and so I stuck with getting coffee at Finger Lakes and lunch at Chipotle because I didn’t have to leave the complex Trader Joe’s is in. One day, I was desperate for a cupcake in leu of an actual meal and decided to try the bakery. To my surprise, I was instead greeted by delicious lunch options. While in line, I noticed and grabbed a paper placemat with a few crayons to keep the kid busy. It had the added benefit of distracting him from the goodies he would have seen had he looked up just an inch instead of down at the paper he was holding. Probably a much healthier lunch than what I was aiming for, I opted for a lunch combo with a club panini and cup of pot pie soup. As the register totaled my choices, I realized the pot pie soup was additional and I should’ve gone with one of their other many tasty sounding soups. I have since tried the baked potato and tomato soups and they are solid options. Kid items include the typical pb&j and mac & cheese, among others but those are the ones we’ve tried. The PB&J was a bit skimpy on the peanut butter, but the mac & cheese was delicious and I was happy that the serving was a bit too much for my son to handle so I could help him finish it off. The kid meals come with a cookie or fruit, plus chips/carrots depending on the main. A drink is included in the price, but it’s still a bit steep for some of the options. I won’t order the sandwich again, but perhaps the other options are worth it. I guess when dining with a munchkin, the luxury of not having to convince them to try pesto is where the value is. I’ve tried the Hibiscus Lemonade … it’s weird. Possibly gross. Maybe just too weird for me, but almost as though they liquefied paper into a drink and mixed it with barely-too-sour lemonade. Not the white out liquid paper, that would obviously be gross(or perhaps a cocktail?), but a stale woody taste… I was not a fan. The regular lemonade is a bit too sweet on its own, but that’s easily watered down. I think next time I’ll just opt for water. Seating is open and we haven’t had a problem finding a space. They utilize my favorite method of service where you order at the counter but they bring it out to you. Even before I had a sidekick that I would either have to corral while retrieving the order, leave sitting at our table alone, or wait until we get our food to search for a table… none of these options appealed to me even before I was a mom. It takes a split second for someone to nab your bag. Or your table. And sometimes places are busy that losing a table would feel like getting robbed. Enough about the trials of the pager order system — this place gives you a placard that sits atop your table and announces where to deliver your lunch. While I am a fan as is my mom(who likes similar sandwich cafes), my husband complained of not getting enough food for the price. I’m fairly certain there is some perfect calculation that this type of restaurant uses that limits the satisfaction to be applicable to women only. Men must order additional items or else leave slightly hungry. To that, I have said and will continue to say, get a cookie.

The Corner Bakery Café is a great spot for meetings and has plenty of seating for a large crowd. Their menu is diverse and I like that it has nutrition facts posted. I get the spinach and avocado egg white panini thin. It comes with salsa and clocks in at just about 250 calories. They also have a very good unsweeted berry iced tea.

The atmosphere bumps it up a star. I was too early for Trader Joe, and needed a place to wait until 8AM and this place was close. The sandwich I got was way better on the menu than it was on the plate, but it was still pretty good. The scrambled eggs on it were strangely watery, not sure how that happens. The bread and avocado were both good, and I enjoyed it with a really nice cup of coffee. A little pricey, but hey it *is* Pittsford. All in all, a very middle-of-the-road experience, except for the atmosphere. The dark paneling, the sequestered booths, and my favorite: armchairs in front of a gas fireplace. They bring your food out to you, so I just sat in one of the comfy leather chairs and read while I waited. I often shop at TJ’s or Pittsford Wegman’s, and would gladly come back here. Great place for a little break. Maybe I could even find something on the menu I like a little more.

Went there after a test in Prometric Test Center. Their California Grille Panini was pretty good, chicken noodle soup is OK, chai is too«light» for me. Nice and clean décor, plenty of spaces, plenty of parking spots too. Nice place to go if you want something fast and healthy.

I’ve always liked the Corner Bakery chain. From the cute one in the town where I grew up(Rockville, MD), to the one near Rittenhouse in Philadelphia(who catered an awesome breakfast we hosted before a day of bar-crawling during Philly Beer Week), it’s a quality chain with great top dog management. The one in Pittsford is no different and it has an interior charm to it that elevates it above the rest of its franchises. Cozy and intimate, this Corner Bakery is decked out in dark mahogany-like tables with black chairs and little alcoves perfect for relaxing by oneself or meeting up with business associates for breakfast or lunch. Service is at the counter and the sandwiches are much better than Panera or Colie’s. Their butter croissants are just HEAVENLY(for a moment I had to pause to think whether they might be better than Flour City Bakery’s!) and the café employee gave me 2 croissants instead of 1 because he said they were«experimenting with a new recipe and they seem so small now.»! How nice! I’d choose this place over most of the café/bakeries in the area, particularly in the winter. It’s a better place than Village Bakery to get work done and have some privacy. In the summer the dark tones are a little less inviting, but honestly that shouldn’t be a discouragement. One added bonus(depending on how you look at it) is that the calories are listed clearly for each dish. So you can see that your breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sausage is nearly 600 calories before you bite into it. Perfect! ;) *As an aside, they do have a healthier, calorie-counting menu as well

I’ve been to the Pittsford Corner Bakery Café several times since it opened in the location vacated by Blockbuster… and I’ll give it points for having a tasty selection of soups and sandwiches. While not a local restaurant, it is staffed by a nice group of friendly employees. Service there is usually fast and efficient, and the food is prepared quite well. Kudos to Corner Bakery Café for listing the caloric values! Verdict: a step up from Bruegger’s and Panera. Nice place to sit down and grab a bite to eat. Free WifFi service.
