Great breakfast staple, unbeatable prices. Only reason this is not getting 5 stars is because of the ambiance, super old 50 styles diner but maybe that’s what makes it great. Recommend for sure!

The food was good and the prices were low, but the ambiance was a little weird — no music and the place is basically a big echo chamber, so all conversations are heard by everyone. Also, it’s cash only, which shouldn’t be a thing in the year 2015.

It’s hard to pass up on the super cheap specials, but the omelettes are really where it’s at! They still come with homefries &toast — got a full meal plus a large to-go coffee for under 8 $. Can’t beat it !!!

Four stars for value. Step back into the fifties, including fifties prices. I have eaten there about ten time to test for consistence. I found it. The place makes no claim of being gourmet or anything like that. It is just a true American diner with diner fare and 1950’s diner prices. If you are on a budget it is worth a visit. Enjoy and save!

BESTBREAKFASTINROCHESTER! It’s a traditional«greasy spoon» style diner with great food and HELLACHEAP prices. Perfect for any occasion. Real casual dive in the heart of Rochester.

The Busy Bee is an old fashioned mom and pop diner that drastically needs a makeover. However it has nostalgic value none the less. The people are friendly and the service satisfactory. There is no sense of being rushed, either. It is a refreshing change from the fast food and boutique food vendors. I will have to say that the breakfast sandwich is absolutely wonderful! The cost is competitive with Tim Horton’s and Dunkin Donut(both within a few blocks) and the ability to have a fresh egg and real bacon that you can actually taste is worth its weight in gold! Lunch is a bit more mediocre however. The meatloaf is interesting at best and the hamburger, while small, is tastier with their homemade meat sauce. Please note that the french fries are awesome! Bring cash.

This is a very small, very old diner. The food is very basic diner stuff, eggs, pancakes, bacon, home fries. We go there for breakfast occasionally because they are a short walk from work. The old lady waitress is very friendly and the service is a bit slow, but attentive. The food is average, I’ve only had breakfast stuff, and the place is very tattered, but for a short walk from work, eggs, bacon and homefries, it’s a good deal. Cash Only
