Bruegger’s Bagels

Visited few times while visiting Greece. Conveniently located near Wegman and great stop to get the usual fix. 1^st visit was Saturday morning and the place was packed. several large groups gathered around the table and appears to be the regulars spending the morning time. My everything bagel sandwich was delicious and also the turkey sausage was very flavorful and spicy. loved it. service was ok without any problem.
2^nd visit was snowy morning weekdays and other than the same big group, place was kinda slow with 3 workers at the front. I knew what I wanted today so I walked right up to the counter and. one lady was backing away from the counter instead of «greeting». the other lady (appears to be supervisor or manager) hesitantly took my order. Didn’t like that feeling of… «hey customer, you are inconveniencing us». other than that, my order was prepared correctly and cashier was polite.

This Brueggers is a regulr spot for joggers/​runners, especially on Sunday mornings. I know regulars who enjoy going here and sitting down for a read of the paper, chit chat with friends, etc.
Personally I feel the workers seem to just go through the motions more often than not. A couple of the regular faces seem to be polite and helpful. On multiple occasions I’ve experienced «that’s not my job» conversations … while I waited for service. Sorry, can’t wait for Tim Hortons to open up the street (and i’m not a big Timmy’s fan).
