Have heard about this place and was craving pizza so thought we would give it a try. It did not disappoint. Great service, great pizza and the mozz sticks were some of the best I have ever had! We weren’t drinking but the place had a nice bar and a lot of tv’s. Will definitely keep this place in mind when we want to watch sports and have food and drinks in a calm setting.

As far as I’m concerned bilotti’s doesn’t even exist anymore. It’s a shame, My husband and I used to eat there with friends on a weekly basis before all these crazy changes, before any of the new locations. It went from a classic, delicious, cozy place to eat and visit with friends… and the tourists all RAVED about it. But they kept trying to fix what wasn’t broken and they totally broke it. What started as attempts to «elevate» the food and environment turned into recreating the whole place altogether and was ultimately an utter failure. It got even worse when they started playing with the location. That original location was just as important as the food, now both are gone. And the name that used to be on the tip of everyone’s tongues in regard to good local pizza is now almost completely unspoken. RiP bilottis.

An unapologetic dive bar. Ask for light cheese or prepare to die. Nice people: don’t get me wrong. It’s just so anachronistic. And if you are male and plan to use the word«anachronistic» while you are there, plan also to be asked whether or not you shave your pussy. Rochester is changing. Billotti’s should too.

When ordering pizza in Rochester I never considered going anywhere else, until now! Since they moved to Civic Center from downtown both the pizza and service have gone downhill. I have given them the benefit of he move and returned twice for pizza. No More! Called ahead for my order and arrived on time. Still had to wait 25 minutes. Very disappointing sauce and low amount of cheese on the pie. Will not return!

The pizza and the staff are disappointing. Not going back. This is a bar not a restaurant, don’t take your kids there, just go for the cheap drinks

Great place, we had lunch which consisted of Cheese Bread and of course Pizza and it was delicious! I love a Pizza with lot’s of cheese and this had it, so much that it was hard to get it onto our plates. Came out piping hot and very tasty. Service was great and overall a nice place.

First of all I agree with all the other comments this place feels like and is a bar slash pizza place! Not only did I have to go to this bar but I also had to wait 20 mins for the pizza to be made when I ordered out. Then when I ate the pizza the crust tasted like cardboard and the crust was burnt on the bottom! Then when I tried calling to complain to a manger, he said I waited to long to call. That is a load of crap if you ask me! This definitely use to be iconic part of Rochester’s downtown but not anymore! This place has lost its touch and is no long appetizing or a family fun atmosphere! So please do yourself a favor and chose another place from the many options in Rochester to eat. I will not be coming back and I will be taking my business elsewhere! Finally I would love to talk to Carla, as I see her always responding to people’s reviews saying I look forward to our conversation

I’m very sad to say it, but Bilotti’s has really gone downhill since the move to Civic Center drive, based on my experience. The atmosphere is certainly not the family friendly place that the downtown location was. This place still feels exactly like Beer Bellyz, which is great for a blue collar, no frills bar, but it’s not for Bilotti’s. The downtown location was friendly and inviting. This place is now a not-so-clean bar that also serves pizza. Having said that, the waitress and bartender were both very friendly and very attentive. They did a great job. As far as the food. Disaapointing. The buffalo wings were quite possibly some of the grossest wings I’ve ever eaten. They are breaded, but the breading wasn’t crispy at all. Just a soggy mess falling off of the meat. The wings themselves were large, but quite fatty. The pizza was as cheesy as ever, but it just didn’t have the flavor that I remember from Bilotti’s. The sauce wasn’t as good as I remember, and the cheese just doesn’t seem to be as garlicky and delicious as I remember. Despite the atmosphere I was looking forward to the food resurrecting our experience and bringing us back in the future, but there are plenty of other pizza options in Rochester, so, I’m sad to say, we’ll be passing on Bilotti’s in the future.

One of the best pizza joints in Rochester. Get the extra sauce for sure. Staff is friendly and lots of beers on tap.

Just ordered a «Pizza Maker» and Hot Wings(to go). Have to say the wings were a complete joke. I have to say they were Tyson frozen chicken wings that were heated in an oven and had more sauce added to them, since there was 2 different colors of buffalo sauce on them. If your gonna serve chicken wings, they need to be fried! Not oven baked! I can do the same thing with store bought frozen chicken wings! The pizza crust was not thin as it was before and they didn’t put any wax paper down in the box. So needless to say, the whole pizza was stuck to the cardboard! The final kicker was when I ordered what«thought were fried» chicken wings, I asked for blue cheese and was told sure no problem. Well you can kinda guess by this review, I didn’t get it! This place used to be the«Go to» place for pizza, but ever since they moved from downtown, the food just isn’t the same anymore.

Best pizza in Rochester, if you like sticky gooey lots of cheese. Carla is friendly and so is the staff. Just had a antipasta salad and it was great. The location is right downtown if your visiting. It’s a great place to go for Thursdays on first for pizza and a beer with friends.

They always say location, location, location make or break a good business. That may be true but this iconic Rochester business still has the clout to earn my repeat business. I certainly like the available parking vs. the downtown location but no building can replace the age old building it once occupied. The thin crust pizza is still outstanding and the service that day we visited was above and beyond. The MN state baseball sections were in town and it was a convenient drive from Mayo field to the civic center drive location. The take out order for a friend was done on time and I delivered it hot. Smelling the aroma convinced me that our family should have pizza at the new location as well. Dine in service was very good and the wait staff checked back several times. Savoys pizza in St. Paul is the spicer sauce version but both are delivered with enough cheese to weigh down any stomach. Ingredients appear fresh and the place was clean. Plenty of TVs and places to sit Down. Coke products with 1919 root beer on tap. Surely will be a DMC Hotspot.

Pizza is great, possibly the best considering it’s competing with Toppers. However, they don’t deliver anymore and the sense you’re going you to be murdered or raped while waiting for your order isn’t worth it. Call anyone else. Why does Rochester have such terrible pizza?

End of an era. We used to go to bilotti’s downtown fairly regularly which my family enjoyed. Now they have moved to Civic Center Drive to an old bar hang out. We went on a Friday at 5:30 for pizza. The place was dirty and too busy for the few waitresses that they had on. Pizza was good but it’s restaurant vibe is gone. It’s definitely a bar with the after work crowd getting their cocktails with a few $ 8 appetizers. They have the TVs going along with the popcorn machine. I just don’t feel it’s a sit down pizza place anymore. If you want to meet adult friends for drinks, sure go. But for bringing the family, I’ll head to a different pizza place.

Seat yourself to some of the best Pizza in Rochester, MN. Most pie joints in MN use the same thick, bland bread dough for their crusts. Not Bilotti’s. Bilotti’s uses a thin crust that tastes great and cooks up perfectly for a nice crunchy texture. The new location is easier to get to, has convenient parking, and has a larger layout inside than the previous location(see my review of their prior building: ). The restaurant and bathrooms are clean Great wait staff, they’ll give you your space, but they’ll be there when you need something. The place feels more like a pub, but it’ll be our go-to pizza joint in Rochester. The best part of the new location is their Happy Hour and their pub. You just can’t beat a 24oz cold mug of bear(not frosty, but still a good, cold temperature) for only $ 4. They have some great Happy Hour specials too. Their pizza is still a tad expensive. $ 17 for the large pizza we ordered(Spicy Chicken Ranch), which has Buffalo Sauce, Cheese, and diced chicken is a little bit more than what we are used to paying for. It’s not the best pizza when compared to other places we’ve been to outside of MN, but its one of the best we’ve had over the past year. Their appetizers are $ 8 too, which keeps us from trying them. Not sure if they are huge portions, but again, the price(which is $ 3 – 4 more than other similar restaurants) prevents us from ordering them. Overall, if your looking for good pizza and a nice draft beer(they have tons of bottled beer too) in Rochester, Bilotti’s is the first place you should try.
