I’ve been actively going for a month, and about 2 – 3 times a week and I haven’t felt once that I wasn’t targeting my goals! These girls know how to motivate and help you take charge of your workout. I’ve seen results of toning and my attitude is a lot more positive and motivated because of these various types of cardio and isometric moves! Live for the Barre!

After relocating from Chicago and leaving behind my favorite fitness studio I was thrilled when The Barre Code(formerly Barre Bee Fit) opened a location in Rochester. Given the suburban location, it’s a smaller studio with one studio room, but plenty of space for the class. The class times are great with early morning(5:30am and 6:10am) sessions for those trying to get in a workout before their work day, or day with kids, begins. This is also the first location I’ve been to that has a shower so you can head straight to work. The instructors here are just as good as those at the original locations in Chicago and I’ve really enjoyed the toughness of the classes. After two days in a row I could barely walk up the stairs so I know my muscles got a good workout. Compared to other Barre studios, I like The Barre Code best given the variety of classes, 6 or 7 types including a yoga style, kickboxing, interval, bootcamp, etc. so it’s not the same class day after day. And the price is great for the unlimited monthly membership at $ 99/mo(3-mo commitment).
