The food is seriously yuck. We ordered take out twice. Both the times the sauce was unflavorful and very low, noodles were very dry. The first time i had ordered Indonesian peanut sauté, there was very less sauce, I had to create my own sauce with a combination of peanut butter, soy sauce and Sriracha to make it edible. The noodles at Royal oak is way better than this one. Hope someone notices and changes things around here. Wait! Why do I bother, I won’t be returning back here anytime soon.

Huge fan of the Thai Hot Pot, which may be discontinued(boo) Went in at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon 11/01/2015 and it was not too busy. We both ordered, grabbed our number and roamed to find a place to sit, with only 3 tables /booths being occupied, was quite a letdown seeing 6 dirty tables. 4 of them had dirty dishes, the other 2 had remnants of someones lunch and were not wiped down. Also the condiments section was not fully stocked, one jar of boulder –smolder & no sirracci sauce

This is the worst Noodles & Co. I’ve been to. I always get the Jap. Pan noodles with extra Shiitake/Broc and sauce. Today was a highlight as the extra sauce was in a separate container. Cold. I can only guess they forgot to add it while cooking and thought that would make up for it. And I could let that go if it was the only thing. I’ve tried this location 12 times since they’ve opened, same problems everytime. I gave them a year off, tried it today, no improvement. There were 5 pieces of broccoli, and 5 slices of shiitake. Not exactly extra. The second time this had happened, a manager was going to send me a coupon. Never got it. Sure it could have gotten lost in the mail, but more likely he just never followed through. I’m not sure what the difference in management/owner is between this location and the Troy one, but I’ll make the extra drive to Troy when I’m in the mood for Jap. Pan noodles.

Pretty decent food menu, the Indonesian peanut sauté and Japanese pan noodles is reallly good and chicken noodle soup is good amongst the soups

Fair, at best. People raved about this place. One even said it was their favorite. Gimme a break. Bland, meager, unimaginative.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s a okay. I like the menu selection, and I’ve tried a few different dishes when I’ve been here. The service is usually good, even though an error at the register held me up today everything was good. I’m not overly impressed but this is the kind of place that I would go with a friend to so we can catch up. Or a quick lunch with my mom or something. Some of the dishes don’t excite me and others do. I also noticed that if I stand to long at the menu deciding(like I did today) they will ask if you need help. They seem to have an Asian spin on things, with pad thai stuff and a few others. I enjoyed my visit but this isn’t one of those places where I feel like I need my noodles and company fix. A great alternative to regular dining locations.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the texture of the noodles is inconsistent with the other times I come here. It’s never bad, just a bit… off. This location also seems to be a bit less clean than other locations, but I wouldn’t say it’s dirty. Anyways, food is good for the price, but I prefer other locations.

I’ve had N&C twice, and this is my first time at this location. I was going to give this place a four, but a few(pretty minor) things have me giving it a three. I guess I’m feeling rather… dickish today. Alright, it’s a Noodles and Company. If you’ve been to one before, you know what to expect. I got the same thing I got last time I had N&C, and that was the pad thai(with shrimp added) and a side of Thai curry soup for $ 11ish. Both tasted fine and good. Not quite authentic or anything, but it’s still some decent food. The reason I considered a three is because the noodles in my soup here were way longer than they should have been… I shouldn’t have to eat my soup with a fork, and then slurp the broth. Secondly, SOME of the noodles(most, really) in my pad thai seemed undercooked. Not to the point where it was worth having them remake it, but they could have been boiled a little longer. Lastly, this N&C seemed a little less kept up than the one I went to previously. It certainly wasn’t filthy, but there was some stuff on the floor and a few tables with dirty plates on them that took awhile to be bused away. Yeah, I know, it’s a Noodles and Company — you don’t need to remind me. It’s pretty tasty food at a fair price, and it’s a place I’d very willingly go to again. Just a few little things kept me from giving this N&C a four. P. S. Coke Freestyle Machine’s always a plus.

I have had the Japanese pan noodles, pad thai, penne rosa, Bangkok curry, and Indonesian peanut sauté. I love their selection and how you can customize the dishes to your preference(a great perk for vegetarians!), and the portion sizes are the perfect amount to fill me up without feeling overstuffed or hungry for more. I’ve had their noodles with the Thai curry soup(which is very yummy!) but it was a little too much for me, personally. Overall it’s a great price! If you visit them frequently, however, you can find the menu to feel a little repetitive after a while. This review is a only a 4 and not a 5 by a very slim margin, I love Noodles & Company but the menu can begin to feel lackluster after a couple visits.

It’s funny reading the reviews and reflecting on my own experience. I cannot disagree with it being a tasty meal but I do disagree with it being reasonably priced. Noodles are cheap. It doesn’t take a lot to cook. Even with adding a small bit of chicken and/or veggies I can’t see a bowl costing $ 11. I had a seasonal pasta with veggies. It was the small and it was like $ 8. The kids had buttered noodles and my hubs had a dish with chicken. The bill was like $ 30. We can eat cheaper and get more elsewhere. That’s probably why we haven’t been back. Plain and simple it’s a cost issue. The people/staff were nice. The restaurant itself was ok. We came after a rush and there were a few tables that needed to be cleaned, wiped up. We love the village and recommend going to the village but if you want a meal with more substance and similar cost go elsewhere.

To be honest, when I visited this location, my food was really wrong. The girl at the register messed up my order from the type of chicken I wanted, to the ingredients/vegetables inside my dish. It came out wrong 2x before the third time in which it was perfect(finally). I would have left unhappy and frustrated, but when my food came out the final time, I was given two«free bowl» coupons to make up for all of the trouble I had. It made a difference, and I would visit this location again, but a little skeptical. Other than that, the environment was very clean and the other employees worked really hard at their jobs. Give it a try!

Ordered the Asparagus di Parma and Pesto Noodle dish and chicken noodle soup for takeout. It was really good except my dish got a bit dry(maybe it would’ve been better if I had it there instead). Love the wide variety on the menu.

I live nearby and eat here quite a bit. I use my iPhone to pre order my meal from home, and in the five minutes it takes to drive there, my meal is ready. Their Mac and cheese is fantastic, as well as their Tuscan whole grain linguine which is great on its own or with the suggested Parmesan crusted chicken. The tomato basil soup is good as a side. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

This Noodles gets 5 stars even though I had a problem with order accuracy. I was at the Village of Rochester Hills today and decided to stop in for lunch … I had a free appetizer coupon from Metro Times too. I’m pretty picky with my noodles there, but I usually get the same thing: the whole grain Tuscan linguine, but with cavatappi noodles instead, and add extra mushrooms and hold the broccoli and onion. When I got my order(after admiring the shiny Coke freestyle machine! have only seen these in a few places around here so far), I noticed immediately that it had both broccoli and onions, which annoyed me, but I didn’t say anything. I had seen the cashier type in SUBMUSHROOMS too so it wasn’t her fault. Later, after I was eating my appetizer, though, another employee came over to make sure everything was good, and I told her about the mistake. She immediately whisked away my dish, and said they would make me a new one, and then she reappeared and gave me a free coupon for a dish of my choice for next time. I got the dish I ordered(tons of mushrooms, no veggies except red pepper) like 5 minutes after that. So although the order accuracy was not great, the customer service definitely was. This Noodles opened in October and still feels very new, as well — nice layout and very clean. I’d recommend visiting if you are in the area or shopping at the Village.

This is my first time to a Noodles & Company and it turns out this is a brand new store(open only for a few weeks). Over all I was rather impressed. As their name implies they serve various noodle dishes, ranging from oriental classics(Pad Thai) to Mac & Cheese. The atmosphere is casual, definitely for the lunch crowd. I had the Pad Thai and the Curry Soup which were both excellent. The price was reasonable and the portions were satisfactory. The food was prepared in a modern American style, more vegies and less sauce, but still very good. Overall I give it high ratings and plan on going again.
