Ok, so I’m not a fan of Jersey Mike’s subs… at least at this location. I know, I know, how dare I! I came here tonight because I was starving, and wanted something quick. I scoured the menu and wish there had been more selections. I wanted a hot sub, but there wasn’t a lot to choose from. I inquired about getting a cold sub cooked hot, and was told that they do not do that. Really? *sigh* So I ordered a hot sub, the Philly one, I think. I asked to have banana peppers on it, and would like them grilled. When I got the sub, I bit into it and realized that there was also Jalapeño’s on it! Yes, it made my mouth burn, but I was so hungry and tired, that I didn’t have the strength to say anything over the wrong peppers being put on it, thus causing my mouth to catch fire. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the sub, and felt it was lackluster at best. It wasn’t just about the peppers, really, but it didn’t look all that appetizing when I got it out. Looked like something someone threw together and didn’t make me want to eat it any more then I was interested in. The staff here, specifically the girl who took my order didn’t seem all that interested in what she was doing. Could have just been me, but hey, that’s okay. The place is clean, but it’s not for me. I would probably return in the future, but only out of sheer desperation.

I’ve been coming here more often lately, as unfortunately, each Jersey Mike’s location is not the same in quality standards. Bonus in that it’s near Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. The guys who run this place are doing a great job, and every single time that I’ve come(more than a hand full of times), the end product is not only fresh, but well made. Too many times when I’ve gone to a Jersey Mike’s location(this has happened at the Troy location on Big Beaver), I feel like all I’m getting is bread. Here, I’ll get my usual Roast Beef and Provolone and they are generous in the meats and cheese. Both Husband and I typically share one giant, and he definitely likes his meat. :) I’ve also gotten the Italian and it’s awesome too. Definitely get it Mike’s Way, but if you’re not too crazy about the oil mix, you can ask them to add less. There’s no limit to how much you want to customize your sandwich. :) These guys will happily oblige. I’ll continue to come here, as the staff is professional, even though a lot of them are pretty young, and the facility is well-kept. Sign up for their rewards, and every 10th sandwich purchased will yield a free one!

Good place to go and grab some quick lunch. Like that the meat ps freshly sliced. The employees are friendly and the service is good. The previous reviewer was correct though that they always don’t get to the tables right away to clean them.

Everyone is friendly, the sandwich is great. There are only a few customers in here and not a clean table. Five stars if the place were clean.

Best sub place hands down. Friendly staff who work well with my family’s, umm, eclectic orders. We’re repeat customers, and will choose them over the other sub places every time.

Good food, friendly service. A little pricey, but worth it. The toppings are fresh and I enjoy the different selections of meat available.

Good was ok, pretty good for a sub shop. I would return. but the service was not so great. The lady was pretty rude and rushing us, it was our first time in there, which I stated, she didn’t seem to care, there was no one behind us. After maybe a minute looking at the menu she very rudely said when ever you’re ready… not in a nice way. and she started at us. Then after my mom ordered her sub the lady said would you like it mikes way, which again was our first time in there, we said what is that? She rolled her eyes and very briefly quietly explained. so my mom just said no onion or oil n vinager, which irritated this lady apparently. The other chick made nine, it was good. Then when my mom went to pay this lady asked if we were rewards members., again FISRTTIMETHERE. We said no, she said said would you like to start, my mom said no thank you. the lady rolled her eyes and hot frustrated AGAIN. Now… if we were rude if understand. I work service industry… but you just don’t act like that. My mom told her we wouldn’t return after all was done, she just shrugged and didn’t care. Me I would have helped 2 brand new customers with their choices… we polietly left, but… will not be back. Too bad cause I liked my wrap and sweat tea :(

I am so happy that this location opened! They have decent cheese steak sandwiches, but the real reason to come here is for the cold cut sub’s. The bread has an enjoyable chew to it and the flavors if the meats and provolone just pop. I really like to get subs Mike’s Way and with the cherry pepper relish. Service so far seems good and the online ordering function easily and had my order ready upon arrival. Kid really likes the ham and cheese sub here so we are happy campers.

I happened to wander in on what I’m guessing was their opening day. There were loads of unusually friendly employees, and someone was taking pictures. I’ve never been to a Jersey Mike’s before, and opted for the pastrami Reuben. At first, I thought it felt a little light, but the regular size was pretty decent. I’m going to guess that for the vast majority of people, going larger is going to take more than one sitting. Really, the only disappointment was that their menu of grilled sandwiches is so limited. I wouldn’t mind getting some of the cold options grilled, but that didn’t seem to be an option. All things considered though, the experience on their first day was far better than the woeful experiences I’ve had at nearby DiBella’s. If you’re trying to decide between the two, look no further.
