Courtyard by Marriott Brighton

The hotel room was clean and in a good location. However, the staff was misleading. Upon checking in the front desk said breakfast is served from 7 to 11. The front desk did not saying anything about price. Any other hotel would have breakfast. This hotel does not and the front desk was misleading and then very rude the next day and the starbucks did not even have black iced tea. Would not stay again for the price and no breakfast.

Nice place. Smaller rooms. Breakfast not included. Housekeeper rude. Pretty smoke free courtyard and indoor pool. Patios are smoke free. Very nice touch. No smoking allowed near doorways. Rooms smell fresh instead of smoky. Nice place to stay with friendly desk and café staff. Delivery not allowed to room.

There is no in room microwave and the TV signal cuts in and out so much you’ll be looking for the bunny ears to adjust. The furniture is also dated when compared to similar Marriotts. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The internet is wired which is a no go for newer model laptop travelers. I’d call this a mixed bag.

The location is really close if you are visiting a student/​friend at U of R. It is also very close to the airport!
The front desk people are very kind and are always there to help out.
There are snacks available for purchase ²⁴⁄₇ and a café that is not ²⁴⁄₇ but does have decent foods. They serve starbucks drinks (not just coffee).
There are 3 floors of hotel rooms with a fitness room and pool. The rooms are all clean and were replenished every day of our stay. I was expecting a small room with an old tv and crappy bathroom, but I was wrong. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are not too bad. If you like firm pillows, maybe bring your own.

I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Rochester again.
The taxis that the hotel call do take some time. I highly suggest getting a rental car because there is free and convenient parking. There are a few restaurants nearby, but again… I highly suggest getting a rental car. it will just be a bit more convenient.

I liked staying here, it was comfortable and most important, very clean.
If I come back to Rochester, I’ll be staying here again! it is close and convenient (by car) to almost anywhere in the vicinity.

Nice lobby with quick and convenient food service. Rooms are clean and comfortable but not up to the same kind if standards I’ve seen in other Courtyards.

Super pleased with this Courtyard. It’s a newer facility with the new Courtyard design. I was particularly happy to find Starbucks coffee at the lobby bistro. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and whirlpool, both of which were clean and there were plentiful pool towels as well.
This Courtyard actually has a courtyard in the center which was well-​landscaped and quite pleasant.
Our room was two doubles-​plenty of pillows (and the linens were clean), a pullout chair, oversized desk, balcony, and large bathroom. Great water pressure.
We would definitely stay here again-​great value for the money.

The Courtyard by Marriott in Brighton is one of the nicer hotels I’ve been to in Rochester. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are big and very nice. The beds are so comfy, so I always sleep very well whenever I stay here. There is also free wireless and a ethernet cable in every room. There’s a fitness room and an indoor swimming pool. They also have discounted rates for U of R students.
There are a few restaurants close by (walking distance) of the hotel; Phillips European Restaurant, TGI Friday’s, Bazil’s Casual Italian Restaurant, Chopsticks, Delmonico’s Steakhouse to name a few.
I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a place to stay in Rochester.
