If you find yourself in Robinson, Illinois, you’d be foolish to bypass a little bag of local flavor at this tiny spot on the town’s main square(I’m not sure what else you’d find to do here!). At this little outlet, you can buy just-made nuggets of min-Heath bars in bags. The bars are not individually wrapped. I guarantee you that by the time you finish the bag you will not need another Heath bar in a while!

Wonderful place to stop if you’re passing through town. The Heath Museum and Confectionery is a museum and vintage soda fountain devoted to the product perfected by L.S. Heath Sons, the Heath Toffee candy bar. The museum is located in the original building of the Heath Co., west of the courthouse in Robinson. But, the museum is also a soda fountain. They serve a variety of original, classic dairy treats, served directly from a restored, vintage 1914 soda fountain. Of course, you can order your treat with or without heath candy bits included.(I recommend with). They also serve an egg cream on their menu, an early favorite drink dessert you’ll have trouble finding anywhere else. Of course they serve shakes and malts in various sizes as well. But wait, there’s more! As well as a soda fountain, there is plenty of memorabilia to peruse as you wait for your order. They also have a vintage record jukebox, fully operational and free to play. If you have kids they will love this. They also have a variety of candies, esp. Heath products, sold on site. The original Heath factory still operates on the west side of town. It is now owned by Hersheys. Yes, it does smell like chocolate over there.
