Went for a quick bite after work and found only a few people dining. I opted for the spicy pepper jack and turkey panini with a side of potato salad. It was good; potato salad was tasty. The menu had some things I’d like to try, but I’m leaving town tomorrow. Maybe they’ll open a deli by me in Fredericksburg. It’s a nice place – plenty of room to dine and the place was clean.

Towers s/​c refuses to die! It was one of Roanokes’ first shopping centers. It is on 2 levels with plenty of parking (a big plus). There is
a Kroger, Petco (soon), gym, McAlisters Deli, Fresh Market, Awful Arthurs seafood, Firehouse Subs, Hollywood Video plus more. Inside there are some funky shops that sell used dvds and convert home movies to dvd, a hippie store that sells incense from the ’60’s and of course, mood rings!, a unique book store with sales people who love books, a vegetarian deli/​café, a hot dog place, etc. Always something interesting going on there. Its worth a visit!
