I have only seen Dr. Sadek once, and will never go back. She was cold, unpersonable, and never made me feel comfortable during the entire appointment. When Dr. Sadek took my history, she didn’t even ask if I was sexually active. As an OB/GYN, shouldn’t that be one of your first questions to ask a new patient? Shouldn’t that gauge the rest of your history and physical exam? While the exam was proceeding, she talked to her nurse the entire time. I was extremely uncomfortable, and felt like I was a burden on her time. I am in Physician Assistant school, and I know how patients should be treated. No new OB/GYN patient should be in and out of an appointment in less than 20 minutes. The history itself should take that long. Only 4 questions were asked of me, and none of them related to the exam that was to follow.(She asked if I was married, what I did for a living, if I was on the pill, and if I wanted a refill on my prescription.) There are so many more questions that she needed to ask to fully understand her patient’s needs. Although, I will never return to this practitioner, I know I will be a better PA because of the lack of bedside manner and professionalism Dr. Sadek showed me.
