I just visited Our Daily Bread last week for the first time. My daughter & I ordered food to go. Super friendly service, the place is really cute(it was packed full of people!), and the food was scrumptious. The bakery items are beautiful! I don’t eat sweets, so didn’t order any, but if I could … I totally would!

I have no complaints. Actually I would probably give 3.5 stars but not able to. There were good options. I had the Greek omelet and potatoes. It was good. Not spectacular but good. They went very heavy on the spinach which was awesome. I’m sure I may review differently if I had tried the baked goods but they have no gluten free breads so I cannot say. Overall good experience!

Unbelievable treat to have eclectic and traditional breakfast fare while being serenaded by two wonderfully seasoned musicians. Definitely worth stopping in here any time!

I was out here for work and was recommended to come here for lunch. This place also just happened to be right across the street! For as busy as they were(it was prime lunch hour) the wait wasn’t long and I was able to admire all the fresh baked breads and pies. Their dessert case was also very enticing! I had the Chicken Avocado salad and ordered a pomegranate macaroon and black currant macaroon for dessert. The chicken salad was PERFECT. Nice chunks of chicken and so tasty. Not too much mayo like a lot of places tend to do. The mixed greens and avocado were nice and fresh. The ranch dressing had to be homemade. It was too tasty not to be! The macaroons were also on point. They practically melted in my mouth and had the perfect flavors. If I’m ever out this way again I will definitely be stopping here!

We have eaten here several times and are never disappointed. Today was extra special because they had a guitar player. For breakfast! What a great way to start the day!

Had Sunday morning brunch. The line was out the door but orders were taken quickly and food was being brought to tables in short amount of time. My husband and I had two different omelets, each one was delicious. We shared the wonderful oven roasted potatoes and had beautiful croissants. The ladies serving this morning were hustling but very pleasant and attentive to their customers!

I’ve had lunch at this ODB and in Bburg, but never breakfast. Really Good Breakfast. I had French toast(one slice brioche, one slice Portuguese sweet bread) with fruit & whipped cream. My husband had 2 huge pancakes, Mom’s and bros omelettes we overflowing with fillings. Unlimited, fill-it-yourself coffee. Worth a return visit!

Best Frites I’ve ever had in my entire life not even exaggerating. The almond macaroons and éclair a are awesome. Service is odd and random. Love the mozzarella sandwich.

I can’t say I am a fan of this spot, perhaps it is personal tastes. I have been for breakfast several times and never found anything on the menu that I want to return for. The last breakfast I had was pancakes that had the potential to be good but the griddle obviously had not been cleaned off because there were bits of onion throughout the pancakes. When I told the lady at the register she did not seem to care. My latest trip to this establishment was likely my last. I went in to get some sweet treats to go. I had a long wait at the register with a number of employees rushing by me, avoiding eye contact. I finally received a brownie and various macaroons. The brownie was ok, nothing special. The macaroons were actually inedible. The texture wasn’t like any macaroon that I have had in the past, in a way it was pasty but chalky at the same time. The flavor just seemed very artificial, I didn’t like it at all.

We had dinner here for the first time and were pleased with the overall experience. Staff were attentive and prompt. The food was good and the portions were reasonably sized so you didn’t leave and feel the need to take nap afterwards. It is kind of pricey but you get what you pay for.

Great brunch spot. The salmon Benedict was superb. Really cute and they had some good coffee too. Hash browns were decent and the baked goods were very tasty.

So far all I have tried from this place are the macarons and I must say I’m in love!!! I searched high and low for macarons in Roanoke and this seems to be the only place that sells them. In order to get a good macaron from it seems the Stars have to align and God knows they haven’t sometimes but still they’re delicious! Only downside is that the staff always seems a little rude and one time the cashier forgot to give me my credit card and I had to come back to get it

I love this place. It’s small but the food is both tasty and not expensive. I’m a breakfast food kind of girl, so that’s when I love to go. Live music inside most weekends even in the winter, summertime it’s outside. Only downside is it has limited seating, so go early. I get my pies from there for the holidays. Love em.

My wife and I have eaten breakfast at the Brambleton Ave location about a dozen times in the last year. Typically, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is trendy and a bit upscale — all good. I do wish that they would change one tiny thing — use better flatware(the unpolished forks feel cheap, bend easily and do not have good ‘mouth-feel’).

This is now one of our regular dinner choices. They now have table service. The menu is small, but everything I’ve had was very good. I especially like the tomato basil soup. Service is informal and friendly

Love, love, love, this place! We use this place regularly as a caterer for a business for breakfast and for lunches. Definitely recommend taking a moment to visit.

Came back again for breakfast last week. This time everything was great. Omelets were fantastic. Side of hash browns were great. Service was efficient and very friendly. Got pastries to go and they were perfect. This place has improved greatly since opening. Still not a fan of the tight quarters in the order line, but they make it work. Give it a try.

This neat little place opened up after I left Roanoke, but on my last few visits back, I decided to give it a try. The food is very fresh and delicious. My first time I got a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. It was HUGE. And it was all melted together with a thick slice of swiss and topped with a fresh tomato… yum! The table beside us had ordered omelettes of some kind and they were the best tasting, best looking omelettes I’ve ever seen! The second go ’round, I got the crab cake Benedict. Large breakfast portion, and it was totally magnificent… a great new take on an original Benedict. I also got a giant mug of the most delicious chai latte. The service is decent and comes to you in a timely manner, but I must say I’m not a huge fan of the waiting in line to order thing for such a nice restaurant.

stopped in for Lunch. Was a little concerned by the lack of vegetarian options on the menu(there was a veggie quiche) but in the case was a tomato mozzarella w pesto on focaccia and it was amazing. My friend ordered a cappuccino and it was the most perfect froth on a cappuccino I have seen on the east coast. Somehow I had the strength to make it out without a dessert but I will no doubt be back soon to feed my face with some of the delicious looking pastries.
