I went here looking for just the right gun for my 19 year old son for his birthday, I was delighted when I walked in and saw a young boy around his age that I could talk to and was so willing to help me find just the right fit for my son! This store had great customer service so thank you gander mountain and Blake Johnson for my good experience and great gift! 5 stars all the way!

I’ve been here several times and the staff has always been helpful. Jackson at the archery desk is great at what he does and takes the time to explain the differences in products. A nice outdoors store for Roanoke to have.

Our first shopping trip to Gander Mountain was a very pleasant surprise.
We went in to purchase a pair of ladies Boggs boots. They didn’t have any but our very helpful sales associate, Alfreda, directed us to some clearance boots that were perfect and pointed out the BOGO half price promotions that were available.

My first experience at one of these stores.
I wanted to buy an advertised special item, it was out of stock.
I found a fishing tackle box that was marked down from $ 40 to $ 24, at the check out the dude charged me full-​price. I asked him to break down the price for me, he said ‘oh yeah, it’s on sale’.
Come on, is it really up to your customers to tell you that you have a product on sale?
