I stumbled across this gem purely by accident. In my usual fashion of procrastination I had waited until the absolute last minute to buy my son’s date a homecoming corsage. While I was at the bottom of everyone else’s list, The Curley Willow not only made an exception to fit me into their busy schedule but created a beautiful corsage that by far surpassed the quality of the other floral shops I had visited. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful getting me exactly what I wanted as well as making suggestions. So glad I found this place. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality, great service and a beautiful arrangement.

The Curly Willow accepted an order from 1800 Flowers from my husband for our 22nd wedding anniversary. By 7:45pm we still had not received the delivery. 1800 Flowers couldn’t contact the Curly Willow so I decided to place the call myself. Upon answering, I was told that they were very busy and that they could deliver my flowers the following morning. I was angry and frustrated that they did not intend to notify us to let us know we would not be getting our order. I was given excuses but never an apology until I finally said, «Just apologize for your mistake!» I was also told that«everyone’s flowers are important». Basically telling me that our order was not their priority. Thank you for that. It means a lot. Their customer service is argumentative and combative. They did get my flowers to me at 8:45pm however the next day, they also decided to send me a nasty email. See email below. By the way, my husband had placed the order the day before our anniversary. Their issue was with 1800 Flowers but I assume they wouldn’t want to take their frustration out on their bread and butter. Upsetting one local customer is better. Too bad we now have social media. There is no reason to ever use this company with all of the wonderful florists in SLC. «Thank you for your reply. In checking into your order after your telephone call, the order was forwarded to me around 3PM for same day delivery. While it was a very busy day I accepted the order and delivered it to you. In fact it was upgraded from the order because of the late delivery. We upgraded the chocolates and added more roses. I also contacted my rep at 1800flowers to confirm that I had upgraded your arrangement and chocolate purchase. They have issued you a refund. At this point I would say you are satisfied as you received more than was ordered and a full refund. Regards.»
