This café is a very convenient place to eat if your in downtown Riverside(walking distance to most downtown locations which prevents paying for additional parking to move your car). I visited this café a few times while serving as a juror. The sandwiches are filling and taste great. The soup and salad bar is good and quick if you don’t have much time. The chicken strips are not the greatest but the French fries were good. The Mexican food was pretty bad. The cost is a bit high but I guess they figure people will pay for the convenience. The girls are very nice and provide good customer service!

My brother works here and it’s my first time trying it. I’m picky so I’d leave a bad review if need be. But it’s Good stuff. Mexican food, chicken salads, sandwiches, soup, plus snacks, coffee and more. Pricey place for lunch(similar to Panera bread prices) but portions are good. Love the music and cleanliness. Staff is also friendly.

The coffee is really good. I get it pretty much every day. Lunch is a little pricey but the service is good. The staff is friendly.

Convinient if you work downtown, but the food is not great, over priced and very crowded. Even calling in an order I still had to wait 10 min lnger than the original 10 minutes time to pick up. As someone else posted, Ive given in to convinence several times in place of quality. Best left as a last option.

So the place gets busy because it’s in the County’s main building. But if you can beat the crowd, the salads are great and so are the other dishes. Everyone I’ve ever sat down with to eat there has never complained and we’re always happy we went.

Hamburger meat is bland, ALL the condiments are watered down. Not what I would expect from a place like this

Great salad bar deal! 5.50 gets you a Box you can fill to your liking. The potato chips are fresh made thin and crispy. Overall, Good food in a convenient location… Other items on the menu can get pricy

I do not eat at Taco Bell, but after eating here, Taco Bell may be a better choice for food. I’ve been here for lunch several times now. I’m not from Riverside, so I don’t really know where else to go when I have to go to the federal courthouse for work. I will have to remember to pack my own lunch from now on, though. I’ve tried many their rice bowls, salad bar, and«Mexican» dishes. I’ve been more than disappointed each time. I can’t believe I’ve spent $ 5 – 10 to eat here. This time, I tried the carne asada«street» tacos. They tasted like they had been sitting out in the street for weeks. It took 10+ minutes for them to get me stale tortilla chips, and chewy carne asada that was barely luke warm. The meat was way overcooked and tasted like it had been microwaved one too many times. Also, I was really put off by the fowl fishy smell coming from the kitchen. I very quickly lost my appetite. One thing to note: This café is owned by Riverside county and, therefore, closed on Fridays. I’m told it’s for budgetary reasons.

Great friendly staff. Quality(Peets) coffee/coffee bar. FANTASTIC freshly baked muffins and the coffee and cakes are TOPRATE. I finally had a veggie sandwich. It was GREAT! PS. This is wrong, the prices are NOT $$$$(over $ 60). An average meal + beverage is $ maybe $$: between $ 8 and $ 12.

$ 2.21 for a medium cup of house coffee. This place is overpriced for what it is. The only good thing about it is that it is located inside the CAC.

The only real notable thing about this place is that it’s convenient if you work downtown, but honest I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Pros: — Local — One of the few places that serves Peet’s coffee in Riverside — Lots of seating — They serve sweet potato fries Cons: — Expensive — Slow — Limited menu — and you can only get certain items on certain days — I’ve know a few people who have gotten sick here — Limited parking

The café is located on the first floor of the County Administrative Building. An okay place for lunch. Lots of people watching. I’ve eaten there three times and I liked the Asian Chicken Salad and the Sweet Potato Fries. Their Turkey Grinder was not good. I picked up one of their pre-packaged Newport sandwiches and the focaccia was very dry.
