Very good food. Very affordable prices. Ambience is not that great but the food compensates for that. Do come here with a lot of time as they don’t have fast service.

I was craving thai today and haven’t yet found my go to spot in my new area yet. Found thai bay café on Unilocal.Visually had everything I was looking for. Wide variety including duck and fish, check it out.

Id give it zero stars if I could. I called and ordered over the phone for three entrées and two Thai teas. He said give him 30 minutes. 35 minutes later I walked in for pick-up. 3 minutes of waiting he asked to help, I said I was there to pick up a phone order, he asked me to have a seat to wait. Two girls came in 5 minutes after me said they were ordering for take out, he helped them first… all before even asking my name for the pick up order. Made them four Thai teas and they went on their way. I told the guy to cancel my order since he can’t help customers in order of coming in and he walked away without a response other than«k» So unprofessional. I came here years ago for lunch breaks when I worked down the street, they had decent customer service then… I don’t know what happened. Kinda bummed since I just moved back to the area and now I will have to drive farther for my Thai fix.

Wow, this place has really gone downhill. I used to live in the area like two years ago and it was waaaay different. I’m working in the area so I decided to reminisce and get lunch here for today. Call for the lunch special and they don’t do fried rice anymore. Minus a star because who actually likes white rice? Lol then I get there and have to wait an additional 15 minutes for an advanced call take out order that was supposed to be done already. Minus a star for that. Not only that but he did not acknowledge me for about 5 minutes, didn’t offer water for my wait, had me standing, didn’t give me my receipt, etc… Minus a star for bad customer service bc it didn’t used to be like that. Then I get back to my office and the lettuce in the salad is wilted like it’s been sitting out, the egg roll is filled with nothing but lettuce and vermicelli noodles… Sorry but minus a star for that. This place used to be so good and honestly really broke my heart today. I love food and hold restaurants dear to my heart like some women do hair dressers so this was a let down.

Best Thai food place for Miles! Peter offers great service with a home feeling to it, you always feel like he you are coming home for dinner. They are very accommodating and make birthdays so much more special. Sometimes Peter even gives you birthday flowers. absolutely recommend that you have the salmon perfect, yellow curry and trout in coconut milk. If you are lucky Peter even makes ice cream. Ooohh and Tue blanket shrimp.

I love this place! The food is authentic and taste delicious! I wasn’t a fan of Thai food but after trying out this place, I became a fan! The food is cooked when you order. it takes a little while but it is worth the wait! My favorite dish is the beef drunken noodle! It’s a must have! I bring my family here often and we are now regulars!

I have been coming here for at least 2 years and it is my favorite place to eat at. To start off Peter is an awesome server, always friendly and making sure you have everything you need. It may be a little slow when the place is busy, but that is understandable and it is worth the wait. The drunken noodles are amazing! You can never go wrong with it. A under appreciated dish is the PANANGCURRY, which is my go to dish every single time. It is exceptional! I come here at least once every other week and I am never disappointed. Definitely better than Royal Orchid and cheaper too. I love THAIBAYCAFE and I would recommend it to anyone.

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for a few years now and it’s remained one of our very favorites. The food is always fresh and delicious. Service can be a bit slow when busy but worth the wait.

Food was very good. We had pineapple fried rice, Thai salad and pad ke mow(drunken noodles). It was all good but be aware… The noodles are spicy! The reason for only 4 stars is because they did not have regular tea! They had Thai tea but no hot tea or iced tea.

First time here enjoyed my dinner customer service is great. Had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and pad see ew with chicken… just thought that the shrimp needed to be cooked just a little bit more and a little bit more sauce on the noodles. But I would come back and eat here when I’m around the area.

This location is definitely not the best, I originally drove by it twice because I was super skeptical about stopping by, but thank god I did! It’s such a hole in the wall typa place The owner is super friendly and helpful, he made sure that our food wasn’t too spicy and gave us chili’s just in case it wasn’t also. I think he makes the food? or at least that’s what I’m assuming because he was explaining how sometimes customers ask for super spicy foods and it gets overwhelming for him to cook lol. I got the Seafood Salad and Chicken Pad See Ew and my boyfriend got the Chicken Pad Thai, this is a really authentic Thai place so everything was hella gooood. I wish the seafood salad had more greens, but there was a lot of seafood in it, so I guess that’s technically a plus. Overall, the food and service is good! I would definitely come back

The restaurant isn’t much to look at, it’s a restored house on Arlington, but OMG, so good! The basil pork fried rice and ginger chicken was amazing. Really inexpensive and a lot of food. I thought I might dock them a point because it did take a little bit of time to get our food. In their defense, the small restaurant had three-fourths of its tables full, and one guy ahead of us had a huge to go order. They did bring us soup(also very good!) while we waited. But after the food arrived, the wait was definitely worth it, so I’ll keep it at 5 stars(but be aware it may be a bit slow when busy!). The young man serving was quite possibly the nicest, most polite guy in the world. We will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying other things on the menu. A real hidden gem!

I eat here at least twice a week during lunch. The host is ultra friendly and Treats me well. I have three go to dishes. 1– pad Thai 2– pepper steak 3– orange chicken(taste like oranges not a syrup) The price can’t be beat and it’s never loud or disruptive in there. Perfect lunch atmosphere and the host will always come make you feel at home !

Sitting here on Mother’s Day, we’ve been here an hour and fifteen minutes. We ordered over an hour ago. The restaurant is slow. There are three tables here. Two that got their food fifteen minutes after we sat. They ate and left. This is a place we come often, and it’s never been this bad. It’s awful. The waitress asked the cook to make something for my pregnant wife to hold her over, she said nope. Just blatant disregard for your customers. It’s pitiful and irritates me to no end that I took my wife here, and my daughter, and this is how she’s treated. It’s garbage. Don’t bring your mother here, wife, or family. It’s terrible service. I hope this hurts them today.

The portions here are amazing! And you really can’t beat the price. My husband and I came here and ordered food to-go. It was made to order, so we did have to wait, but Peter(the host) was incredibly friendly and engaging. He even gave me a free Thai iced tea! For 1 order of Pad Thai and 1 order of Drunken Noodles, the total came out to $ 15. That’s amazing! Plus, it was a lot of food. The interior is a little outdated and the parking is in the rear, but overall, I definitely think this place is a great little Thai restaurant in the Riverside area.
