Style Cuts

Very disappointed. The stylist that I had was an older lady and I should have left the second I sat down.
First off, she was on her phone when I walked in and continued to stay on her phone when seating me and going into the back to keep chatting without saying anything to me. When she finally got off her phone and came back to begin prepping for my haircut. Her phone rang and she dropped everything and ran to the back to grab her phone. She came back with the phone back to her ear.
Secondly, she cut my hair without even showing me how much she was going to cut off! She cut it way too short! When she saw the shocked look on my face when showing me what she had already cut off, she immediately responded «I think it looks fine» and continued to cut the rest of my hair.
Thirdly, she took only about 5 minutes to cut my hair minus the time she took chatting on her phone. I’ve had haircuts before and she definitely did not put any effort into my hair. My sister has done a better job than she did.
I’m giving this review 2 stars because despite my bad experience, I know that not all the other workers are like the stylist I had. If I ever come back, I will be requesting a different hair stylist.

Great hair cut great service great value! Men’s haircut only $ 10 (weekends I think the have a special for $ 8 during the week). My stylist Addi was great did a great job and excellent friendly service. Will definitely go back.

I always love coming here, I usually never ask for any one specific stylist since I walk in most of the time and they’re always very accommodating and quick, haven’t been disappointed with any of my cuts or colors.

My hair was so fried from getting it done here, I had to chop it all off!

I made the reservation right when they open, well they let people in before their business hours. Gotta wait until those people were done, then the older lady took care of my daughter and I Showed her what style my daughter wanted, first she cut it a little too little, then i showed her the picture again, then said that it was not a good haircut for a child? Duh… Like maybe she can’t do it? Well my daughter was ok with it, my husband was not
Then proceed to cut my hair, I have no idea what she was doing. I honestly think we got to go back to our regular lady in Tustin to fix our hair
Anything close to home… never a guarantee. I would probably try the other lady, but never would I want to have the older lady cut it. Sorry didn’t plan on being mean but, i forgot to ask their names

I honestly had the best experience hear at Style Cuts. I’ve never had a professional hair cut at a salon before. I’ve only ever gotten haircuts for free from friends and family. Well my 21^st birthday is in a couple of days so I decided to treat myself and get a nice haircut.
I arrive here in the shopping center over on La Sierra and the location was a bit inconspicuous but I managed to find it pretty easily. I walk in and they greeted me with kindness and asked how they could be of service to me. I responded that I was here for a walk-​in haircut and expected to wait 10+ minutes. I then sat down and 30 seconds later Liz asked if I was ready. It was so quick that I was caught off guard. I comfortably explained to Liz what I was looking for and she simply said that my current style was similar and it would be easily possible. Thus, she got to work-​always asking me about my style preferences whenever she would switch tools-​and wasted no time at all.
The haircut itself lasted about 10 minutes, and she even thinned out my thick asian hair. Liz would make small talk with me and even offered to style my hair for me so I could see how much I would like it. I told her it was absolutely perfect. Honestly it fit the pictures i showed her so well. She told me about the benefits of using Suavecito pomade and I had agreed to buy it because my brother also recommended it for me. My overall total was a cheap $ 23 and I gladly paid and included a satisfying tip for Liz. This woman is amazing, and truly knows what she’s doing!
Even after I got home my sister commented multiple times how much she liked my hair. My mother instantly complimented my hair upon seeing me after work. My sister is also thinking about coming back here and is already making plans for it! 5 stars well earned Style Cuts, and Liz you were wonderful!

I discovered this place on Unilocal while searching for an economically acceptable haircut, I’ve been going to SportClips for years and they usually charge about $ 20 for a cut. I came in and they were fairly busy but I was greeted immediately and within 20 minutes I was in a chair, I asked for my usual (2 and ½ on the sides and back and half an inch off the top with scissors). The stylist made small talk and was pleasant she was retentive to my hair and did an excellent job she also recommend I thin my hair since I have thick hair. I asked for a wash and it was included at no additional cost. Monday– Wednesday a men’s cut is $ 8 and the rest of the week it’s $ 10 which is fantastic! Overall extremely happy with the salon.

I’ve been meaning to get a haircut for a while now and I remember how my friend recommended me to this salon. She told me that they were able to cut her hair just the way she asked and for a very affordable price.
I decided to give this place a try and called in today at 1PM. They told me that they were doing a special for partial highlights, cut, and treatment so I was convinced and was able to come in by 3PM.
My stylist’s name was Anna. When I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and colored, she took a few seconds to look at it and was able to get my hair looking just like the way I asked! Usually, I’m skeptical with stylists because sometimes they don’t get the color/​style quite the way I want, but Anna was able to pull it off without a problem! She also gave me the deep conditioning treatment on the house.
Needless to say, I was very satisfied with the result, and I’ll definitely come back here next time I need a haircut.

My grandmother, mother and nephews always go to Norma who does a wonderful job. But I discovered Anna by chance and I have been going back to her regularly ever since! She has always done a perfect job and she makes it look so effortless. She has talent!
1. Haircuts are $ 8 – 10 but I would pay double if I had too!
2. Walk-​ins welcome, but I always book ahead.

Clara now cuts but only my hair, but my family’s hair as well. Very personable and friendly. Cuts my husbands hair just hire he likes it. Current styles. The other ladies are also worth recommending as well. Lots of walk in appointments managed. Homey friendly atmosphere.

Update:
I am still coming here to get my trims! I love Anna, she is the sweetest and always styles/​trims my hair at the length I ask her too. I think on Tuesdays is when they have their special, its about $ 12 – 14 (something like that) for a cut for long hair, and yes! My hair is long thanks to all the great trims I have been getting from Anna!

First of all let me say that hands down the best place! I will forever keep going ! I love how friendly everyone is I got my hair done from a darkish chocolate brown to an amazing blond! My hair stylist was Ana she was so sweet and friendly the entire time I was there I was never bored and felt really great how every few minutes she would check on me to see if I needed anything ! They made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Best of it all my husband loved my new hair ! She colored it, trim and styled for a great price ! Absolutely recommend it!

I made a same day appointment to trim my long hair. Anna made it easy and cut my hair for $ 16.
This place was great for me because I was tired of paying $ 60+ for simple trims. The salon isn’t super-​glam, but it’s just what I wanted. Proficient, friendly, affordable, and fast.

My new favorite hair place!
Walked in this past Saturday based on Unilocal reviews and I couldn’t have been happier. I asked for a balayage color style with a trim. I was taken care of right away as it was Memorial Day weekend and there were only a few clients.
I was taken in by Liz and started off with the bleach and color right away. I had very dark brown and very thick hair so she took a while foiling but was very patient and had great conversation! She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or like I was taking up all of her time (which I was lol). I then sat under the heater or whatever it’s called and then went for a wash then style. Overall, the whole process took about 3 – 4 hours.
The results are amazing!!! I’m more than happy with my hair, the trim and the colors! I’m so happy I walked in on a whim and met Liz. She’s now my new color lady!

I’ve had a few haircuts here before and the service was great! On my last haircut I thought I felt the girl get a little to close with the clippers but I didn’t think she would not tell me if she messed up. I tipped her $ 5 for the haircut. I went to my friends house and he tells me I have a bald spot on the back of my head so he takes a picture… In two spots the hair was trimmed almost bald! And when lining up the bottom there is an uneven spot under the bald spot!
So I went back in and showed them and asked if they would fix it for free and both the girls inside tried to tell me I have a hair disease and I’m overly stressed so I should go to the doctor immediately.
I will not be returning for a haircut and I will turn everyone away from this place.

Anna was my stylist and she was very helpful.
Though my curly perm didn’t take, she was very, very accommodating to make sure I was happy with the service. Would totally recommend to anyone.
