I had the BBQ beef brisket with a side of red potato salad. Large portions of both and enough to feed two. They didn’t skimp on the avocado either! The bread was the best part of the meal but overall it’s not a sandwich to die for or special, just average.

I’ve always passed this place up because of the price. I finally give in and tried it and I didn’t know what I wAs missing. You get what you pay for and the focaccia bread is well worth the cost! I got the Mediterranean salad — no cheese and no cheese in my focaccia. They were very accommodating! I will definitely be eating here again.

So you’re looking around the food court for something to eat, and you’re not sure what to choose. If you are looking for healthy food, THISISYOURPLACE. I had garlic and basil chicken sandwich and I felt like I had A salad instead… That’s how healthy it was. All sandwiches do come with a side; chips or a salad. Around 9 $ per person, likewise price. Without a drink that is. And the bread used for sandwich was on a pita bread kinda bread not your regular load of bread.

This place is love, this place is life, this place is OvenStone! If there’s any eatery that deserves 3 Michelin Stars it would be this establishment.

Maybe even close to 4.5 stars. I used my Groupon yesterday. The garlic and basil chicken was soooo good(probably mainly due to the bread). I also enjoyed the bbq chicken sandwich. At almost $ 8 a sandwich, I probably would’ve never tried it as there are many other options at the food court in Tyler Mall with more competitive prices. However, with the deal, I am glad the flavors were just as stated by the reviews on Unilocal. The wait for two sandwiches and sides were a bit longer than getting Asian food scooped into a container because they had to cut the bread in half and fill it with the sliced chicken, lettuce, tomato, and sauce then into the oven but it tasted great. Even my picky toddler enjoyed the chicken and bread. The salad(with croutons so hard I couldn’t eat them) and pasta sides were average but nice little bonuses included in my price.

Unfortunately, I don’t get the hype about this place. My friend recommended this place at the food court and while I enjoyed the sandwich, it’s not something I would necessarily come back to. The wait time was pretty long(for a food court), the length it took for us to receive our food was almost like waiting in a normal restaurant. I got the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with Caesar salad since it seemed to be the most popular option on Unilocal.Bread was great but sandwich overall was not as amazing as I thought it’d be. The main reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars though, is because of the salad. It wasn’t fresh at all and the dressing had an odd odor to it… like it was super old/rotten. Price is great for the portion but I can’t say I’ll be back.

I saw this business on Unilocal and it looked pretty good, so I decided to try this place today. It was very average to me, just another stand in a food court. My expectations were, unfortunately, not met. It was pretty slow. Waited about 15 – 20 minutes for my food to finish even though there was only one other person in line in front of me, so I don’t recommend this place if you are in a rush to someplace. I got the BBQ beef brisket sandwich with a side of caesar’s salad. I thought the sandwich would have been enjoyable, but it was a bit spicy. I admit, though, that the bread for the sandwich tasted really good. The salad, on the other hand, tasted very average(maybe below) and not that fresh, to me at least. The dressing tasted kind of odd. I ended up getting full after eating one sandwich(they give you two), so the serving is pretty big. Overall, I don’t really get the hype for this place. 3 stars for being spot-on average. Maybe this was just that one inevitable not-so-great experience that occasionally happens. I will probably come back here only if I get tired of food at any other place.
